Disclosure: Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post.
On the road again, I just can’t wait to get on the road again! Insert: happy dance. Shawn and I recently took a quick trip to the East Coast and it was b-e-a-u-tiful! It was longggg overdue and one of the first getaways we’ve taken in a hot minute. And let me tell ya, friends, it felt oh-so good to explore! So whether you’re back on the road again or planning upcoming travels of your own, Nordstrom is here to help take the guesswork out of what in the world to wear while on said road – because let’s be honest, it’s been awhile!
For anyone that’s new around here – hello, welcome! – you should know that Nordstrom is near and dear to my heart. Nordstrom is truly a one stop shop for getting dressed from head to toe. They offer free shipping and free returns, options to buy online and pickup in-store, and have customer service that is unmatched, making shopping online better than ever! You better believe I’m a frequent Nordstrom shopper, so being a part of the Nordy Club gives me plenty of chances to earn Notes for future shopping trips, free alterations, early access to shopping events, and so much more! And now on to the fun stuff. Here are a few go-to outfits for Fall travel [or Fall staying-home and running errands 😉 ] all from Nordstrom!
Comfort is Key
Jacket [TTS] // V-Neck Tunic [TTS] // High Waist Leggings [TTS] // Loafers [TTS] // Similar Leather Tote
When it comes to travel, comfort is key. And I’m a firm believer that dressing for comfort doesn’t need to mean sacrificing style. If you own a pair of black leggings [these have been my go-to pair for years!] and a tunic, you can put this look together. Don’t forget to layer this time of year! I paired this jacket in the prettiest fall color with a pair of comfy loafers to pull it all together. Pro Tip: slip-ons make airport security a breeze so you’re not fumbling around getting your shoes back on! Last, but not least, is an oversized tote to haul all your goodies from point A to point B in style. And you’re off!
Girls Getaway
Graphic Tee // Joggers // Similar Denim Jacket [size down if in between] // Sneakers [similar sneakers] // Duffle Bag
If you’re going for a more casual look, we’ve got you covered. How cute is this graphic tee for a girls trip?! Pair a basic tee with these silky smooth joggers and you’re ready to rock! I love to layer this easy breezy outfit with a comfortable jacket and sneakers. Of course, no travel outfit is complete without a pair of cute sneakers [similar version] and a duffle bag. And just like that, you’re ready for GNA [Girls Night Away, that is]!
Ready Upon Arrival
Cardigan [TTS] // Sweater Tank [TTS] // Skinny Jeans [size down one] // Booties // Similar Leather Tote
I get it. Sometimes a girl prefers to wear “real” pants. It doesn’t happen often, but I get it. If you have a short car ride or maybe you need to look put together upon arrival [ie. when the plane lands with no time for bathroom wardrobe changes], “real” pants might be your best bet. If you’re going to put yourself through a few hours of buttons and zippers, please let it be with these jeans! They’re truly the most comfortable brand of denim I’ve ever slipped on and chances are, you’ll forget you’re even wearing jeans. Snuggle up with a cozy cardi and you’re good to go! Here’s to safe travels this upcoming holiday season, friends!
