And just like that, Summer has come and ALMOST gone. August is officially here and believe it or not, the LIY Team is still getting dressed — minus the few of us who occasionally work from our jammies, that is. 😉 Either way, we get it. It’s hard to know what in the world to wear these days. Some mornings are cool and crisp [and you can almost feel Fall getting closer] and by noon you’re sweating so profusely the natural deodorant doesn’t stand a chance. If you know, you know. So today we thought it would be fun to share a look into what Team LIY is wearing right now, with 10+ head to toe outfits – all under $100. Now enough about us, let’s get to good stuff – our outfits!
Erin’s Under $100 Look
I still can’t believe this dress is under $30! It looks like a designer option you’d find at a specialty boutique, however, it’s Amazon for the win! It’s such a fun choice for any upcoming summer event, vacation, or date! I paired it with these nude heels that I found in the anniversary sale [under $60] and know that I’ll be wearing them with so much in my wardrobe for the next several years! Two closet staples, all under $100 that you can’t go wrong with!
Steph’s Under $100 Look
Pleated A-Line Swing Skirt [TTS, wearing in M in Black (short) / Everleigh Lace Knit Tank [Limited sizing, TTS wearing in L in Dusty Lavender] / Lace V-Neck Blouse [TTS, wearing in L in B Pink] / Similar Shoes: Sole Society Sallan Sandal / Sole Society Simonaa Sandal
Bringing you TWO options for an under $100 outfit courtesy of my recent purchases because the dress I originally ordered for this did not work out [PSA – if you are all larger chested, do NOT buy this – you will be confused how you suddenly look like you have two lumpy pancakes up top. I have photos, but I’ll spare you – they’re scary!] I recently purchased this A-Line Swing Skirt for work/church and love the way it flows to add a bit of fun to an outfit. Now to schedule a date night so I can wear it for that! This EverleighTank is available in limited sizing, maybe because I bought it in three colors… it’s a good one friends if you can get your hands on it! I’ve also been loving this Lace V-Neck Blouse and wearing it quite a bit lately – mostly with jeans but I like it paired with the skirt here too! Throw on some Sole Society sandals and you’re all set!
Lauren’s Under $100 Look
There’s nothing easier to throw on than a maxi dress and sandals, and having a jacket on hand in case it gets cool! It’s perfect for a casual office environment, travel days, running errands, or an impromptu day date! This maxi is SO soft and has a fun crossed back, and I’m loving the square toe on these sandals! This denim jacket is a closet staple of mine, and is through every season!
Claire’s Under $100 Look
Living in Yellow – literally. There’s just something about this color that makes me feel all sorts of happy inside! But if yellow isn’t your jam, never fear. This cami is available in about a dozen different color options and is only $20! Great to wear on its own in the Summer, or layer later this fall with a jacket or cardi!
Katy’s Under $100 Look
A skirt that is as comfy as a sweater? Sign me up! I feel like this skirt can do it all! Wear it for a fun day out or dress it up for the office. I have been on the hunt for a white tank (non sheer, please) and am so happy with this one! It is cropped, so perfect to pair with skirts like I did here or high waisted jeans! Both of these pieces are from Abercrombie, but I paired them with some Amazon sandals.
LIY Ambassador’s Under $100 Looks
If you’re looking for a comfy jumpsuit, you need this! Heather here and I’m not sure I’ve ever worn something more comfortable. Sounds dramatic, but trust me here!! This would make a perfect travel outfit. The best part about this little number is that it’s from Target and in LONG length!! I plan to pair this with a denim jacket, white sneakers and a baseball cap as the weather cools down.
Ashley, here! I’m actually excited about this one. This is LITERALLY my new favorite dress. It comes is so many patterns and the material is…like…perfect. It’s drapey but not thick. I can’t explain it. Oh…pockets! Get one or three now 🙂
I am OBSESSED with this tie dye denim babydoll dress! This fun and super lightweight dress is perfect for all your summer outings! Even better, it hides everything and is forgiving! So … no spanx needed!!! I am wearing a XL in this little number. With such flow and balloon type structure, I would highly recommend sizing down!
Hello loves, Sthefany here! I’m loving all the bright colors this summer and this matching set is not the exception! The textured pattern on the outfit is just right to dress it up or to just simply have a lazy day. Pair it with some sandals and messy bun for a Target runs, beach walks, or lunch with the girls. The possibilities are endless.
The perfect summer vacation look! Skye here! I’m headed on a long weekend this weekend and definitely have this cute sweater packed! Lightweight breezy, and cute, this will be perfect with denim shorts for summer! Size down if you’re in between, it runs big – I am wearing a large here! Use the code WOW for 40% off!!
I might be in love with these silk camis from Express! They come in a ton of different colors, super versatile for multiple seasons, and the perfect length to fit my long torso. These cropped, raw hem jeans have been my go to jeans this Spring/Summer! They have a dark wash and come in long, and they fit like a glove! Express is having a sale on both off these pieces! Grab some while they are still available!
Dress [true to size, under $10!]
Lisa here! I can’t believe we are in the thick of summer! I don’t know about you; but I want it to slow down. Here’s a perfect slip on, summer dress that is priced just right. I love the shoulder detail on this piece that gives it a trendier look and feel. This dress is super versatile and can be paired with any type of footwear you feel best and comfortable in!
Founder and creator of LIY, Erin turned her dream of a hobby blog into a full-time career which she now runs alongside the LIY team! When not in front of her computer screen [with a La Croix or wine in hand] or in front of a mirror taking mirror selfies, you can find Erin spending time on the water, cuddled up with her two pups and husband most likely watching the latest Shark Tank episode, or getting lost in an easy beach read.
