Ummm to say that Amazon has been good to us this month’s is an understatement. I know it’s the month of love and all, but Amazon must reallllly love us, because wow, we found a lot of good items! From fashion, to beauty, to home decor, all we can say is good luck trying not to add several of these to your cart! Happing Prime-ing!
I don’t know about you but I am ready for spring and summer, mostly for the margaritas, but also for the cute tops that accompany the warmer weather. When I spotted both of these pom tops on Amazon, I knew I wanted to try ’em both. Fortunately, they didn’t disappoint. I love the added texture and spring colors that both of these come in. I did feel like they were a little snug in the chest so I would recommend sizing up if in between! Super cute, fully lined, and perfect for work or play!
Meet the mirror responsible for all of my mirror selfies. Yes, I realize that it is not normal to have a full-length mirror in your living room, however, you gotta go where the lighting is good in this industry 😉 Regardless if you’re a fashion blogger or not, I thought I’d share this mirror in case you’re on the hunt for one! This mirror is plenty big to see your entire outfit and I love that it has a stand or the option to hang on the wall! For under $150 it is very price friendly and has helped me get dressed more times than one ever should…
I’m always the girl with coffee on the go – typically in the form of regular mugs with handles and no lids that slosh coffee all over my car which causes me to want to cuss. Insert my curse-free travel mug, this cutie. I bought one of these a year or so ago and went back for more because I loved it so much. I love that it doesn’t have any handle making it car cup holder friendly and the silicone outside is so smooth and just feels wonderful. It is dishwasher safe [YAY] and is available in 12 or 16 oz. Great for guys and girls both, Shawn’s a big fan of these as well!
Technically speaking this wasn’t my purchase, however, my husband bought this battery organizer and I’ve been reaping the benefits since. There’s just something so beautiful about organization and nothing makes me happier than pulling this out of our closet when I need a new battery rather than digging through a bunch of different boxes to find what I need. This holds 93 batteries and comes with a battery tester as well! Highly recommend!
Amazon Essentials Coat TTS, wearing in XS, color is Camel
This coat is winning BIG brownie points in my book! Budget friendly, warm, sherpa lined pockets and fits my petite frame [5’2”]!! I love that it’s not too puffy, a great length for our Winter’s in Indiana and you don’t have to sacrifice budget for style!
Hannah’s Measuring Spoons
Anyone else, ALWAYS seem to lose their measuring spoons in their utensil drawer?! It’s like they get lost into the abyss of measuring cups, wooden spoons, spatulas and takes forever to find them when you just want to measure vanilla for the cookies you are making 🙂 Wellllll these spoons are AWESOME! The color helps them stand out in the drawer, I love that they’re magnetized and stay together and can easily be taken apart! So many fun colors and under $18!
Hannah’s Coffee Station
My husband is a HUGE coffee lover but we were using a ton of counter and cabinet space for everything. So, after LOTS of research I found the perfect buffet and set up a fun coffee station for him!! These canisters have been great for holding coffee grounds and come in a variety of sizes, so we’ve been using the others in cabinets!! Bonus, it still looks nice sitting out on the table! I LOVE the look of these coffee mugs too! They are a bit smaller but that just means he drinks more cups [lol]!
Hannah’s Meat Masher
This guy has been trending ALLLL over the internet for months so I decided to give it a try! With it’s over 13,000 reviews, I now understand why people have been talking about it so much! It mashes potatoes and grinds up ground beef into much smaller pieces! This is nice because we have a picky eater in our home [hates the texture of meat] and she’s hardly noticed it in her meals when we use this! AND it’s under $10!!!
Claire’s Shower Steamers
Things are getting steamy in here! Confession Time: I don’t have a bathtub. Living in an apartment, you don’t always get that luxury. 😉 If you’re also deprived of a tub [or if baths aren’t your jam], meet my Shower Steamers: Lavender + Citrus. One of my favorite perks of bath bombs or bath soaks? The smell! I love this calming lavender before bedtime and the energizing citrus first thing in the AM. Just place them somewhere out of the direct water stream [I put mine on the soap ledge] and let the steam work it’s magic. WARNING: the citrus scents are brightly colored and run as they dissolve. It did not stain a standard fiberglass shower, but beware if you have ceramic/porcelain tile or anything that could possibly become stained! If you’d prefer to play it safe, I can’t recommend the Lavender scent enough!
Claire’s Apple Watch Band
My most worn accessory? My Apple Watch. While I’ve been rocking the classic white band for the last few months, I’ve been searching for something slightly less casual for days at the office or date nights out. Insert this gold band. As a strictly gold jewelry wearer, it was exactly what I was looking for. Bonus: the links are removable – no tool needed!
Claire’s Fridge Magnets
Refrigerator Magnets [12 Pack]
Fridge Magnets: one thing you can never have too many of. I love the neutral color of these [also available in bright colors if that’s more your style] + they’re heavy duty enough to hold cards, photos, notes and anything else that needs to be front and center on the fridge.
Amazon Essentials Coat [TTS, wearing medium]
After I saw this Amazon coat on several of the other girls on the team, I knew I had to get my hands on it. No regrets! I’m super impressed with the quality– it is SO WARM [like crack a window in the car type warm], has fleece lined pockets, and an interior zipper pocket for all your goods. True to size [or size down if in between], wearing medium here with plenty of room for layers.
Ruffle Sleeve Crewneck [TTS, wearing medium]
Well you’re fun! If you look close enough, you can see the lemon drop martini stain on my sweatshirt. Reason number 5,764 I love heather grey? Stain camouflage. Loving this cute ruffle sleeve detail that adds a little pizazz to a standard crewneck. She’s fun, flirty, true to size, and available in several colors!
Lauren’s 6-Pack Thongs
With almost 30,000 positive reviews, I had to try these thongs [c’mon, under $10 for a 6-pack?!]. Well, I can now say see ya later Victoria’s Secret! No more paying $10 per panty! They’re a cotton material, breathable fabric, and overall just a great set! Really, there are no frills to these, which is what I needed for everyday underwear!
Lauren’s Table Topics
Between a toddler, a baby, and two jobs, and COVID, sneaking away for date night hasn’t happened as often as we’d like lately. So I’ve added in this Table Topics date night set for after the kids go to bed, while making dinner, or even in the car! Simply ask a question, and let your love for one another flow 😉
Lauren’s Essential Oils Holder
I hated not being able to see which essential oil was which, having them fall over, and sometimes even buying duplicates because I didn’t realize I already had that one. Thanks to these simple holders, now I can quickly see where my oils are when I need them!
Lauren’s Pillow Covers
I asked you all to help me pick my next pillow cover, and this one was the winner. And I must say, you all have good taste! I’m loving the added texture these bring to our couch, and the ability to quickly wash them if needed!
WOW. As soon as I put on this sweatshirt [basically the second it arrived] I didn’t want to take it off! SO soft on the inside that you could comfortably wear it to bed, but the little puff sleeve shoulder makes it ready for date night! Wearing in my true medium!
2 reasons you need this coat: 1.) It’s water resistant 2.) It’s warm ???? Inserting reason #3: it’s super cute! I didn’t realize I needed this type of coat so much until it arrived. I have a winter coat, I have a rain jacket, but I didn’t have a warm coat that I could also wear in the rain or snow!
“Girllll, put your records on”. I’ve been looking for the perfect table to put our record player on & here she is! It’s the perfect size to store the records on the bottom as well. It can also be used for an end table in your living room or bedside table, the possibilities are endless.
Katy’s Makeup Sponges
These sponges are so soft and I love the blend it gives my foundation when I use them! I’ve tried the beauty blender sponge as well and I honestly like these better! The price at 4 for under $11 doesn’t hurt either.
Katy’s Salad Spinner
Am I a real adult now that I have a salad spinner? Everything about this one is so easy to use! Just throw in your salad and for under $20 your greens will be squeaky clean.
I have had my eye on this cute little number(s) -12 to be exact- for over a year! WHY I didn’t buy it sooner? I don’t know?! Maybe because it keeps going in and out of stock because everyone else wants it too. Maybe because I like to act like I’ll forget about things and not want them a few weeks later (it didn’t work this time). Whatever the case, we’re together and there’s no splitting us up now! I love how it falls perfectly into place with my other decor (helloooooo new shelf) and brings a smile to my face with each tick-ticking second!
Steph’s Laptop Stand
To be totally transparent, I can’t honestly tell if I’ve reached an all-time high or low with this recent WFH purchase. What I can tell you is that I’ve reached an all-time level of comfort and convenience for those days when working from bed, the couch, or the floor feel like the best solution! This baby offers varying heights (the lowest setting is perfect for my bed, while raising the desk is perfect for sitting on the floor), tilts to just about any angle you’d like (there’s a stopper to rest your laptop on when tilted), has a drawer (I use mine for a pen and pair of blue light glasses) AND an insertable book rest which conveniently stores on the back when not in use. Not to mention, there’s PLENTY of room for your beverage of choice, and a notebook or planner. Adding this one to the “why did I never invest in this before” list!
Welcome to my home office! This past year, I decided it was time to invest in my at home office space because WFH has become the new norm! I wish I had some before images for you because wow, this space has gone through a complete transformation! I snagged this round gold mirror to go with my wall desk unit! I actually use this space as a vanity + extra work space for my hubby if he needs to use it! The mirror was exactly what I expected at a pretty fair price! Definitely recommend it if you are in the market for one!
Cassidy’s Utensil Holder
Has anyone else been binge watching Studio Mcgee’s Dream Home Makeover?! Well, it has left me feeling inspired and super into an earth yet modern style! I was on the hunt for new utensils and also wanted to dress up our utensil holder as well when I stumbled upon this crock and fell in love! I am such a sucker for the Creative Co-Op, so I had to get my hands on it! Who says utensil holders can’t be cute, right!?
Cassidy’s Under Eye Brightening Corrector
Okay…. The internet made me buy it! I struggle with dark circles under my eyes and I am always trying out new products! I stumbled upon this one and had to try it! It is a little spendy but it has nearly 1.500 reviews, so I thought I could be the guinea pig for you all! Let’s just say, it’s worth the money! This is one of few products that actually brightens and illuminates my under eye! While it may seem small, the product goes a long way! If you struggle with dark circles I recommend giving it a try, or it can also be used as a highlighter!
Founder and creator of LIY, Erin turned her dream of a hobby blog into a full-time career which she now runs alongside the LIY team! When not in front of her computer screen [with a La Croix or wine in hand] or in front of a mirror taking mirror selfies, you can find Erin spending time on the water, cuddled up with her two pups and husband most likely watching the latest Shark Tank episode, or getting lost in an easy beach read.
