Disclosure:  Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected, purchased and worn by yours truly.

Who wears short shorts? I’m hoping to wear short[ish] shorts soon! While the ground may be snow covered today, in a mere matter of weeks [or months, or what may seem like years] we’ll be frolicking around in shorts and tank tops. Nothing beats a good pair of shorts, a classic tee, and your favorite pair of sandals when the weathers warm, so I figured today I’d try out several pairs of shorts from Nordstrom and share my favorites!

You all know by now, Nordies is my go to for all-the-things. So you better believe that when I needed shorts I was turning to ol’ faithful. The free shipping and free returns is a game changer when you’re shopping for things like shorts – trust me, I know short shopping takes a few sizes sometimes. Plus I love earning Nordstrom Notes as a Nordy Club member every time I shop – it’s basically free money for my next shopping trip! And if you’re lucky enough to live close enough to one, take advantage of buy online pickup in store or curbside pickup! Ready to slip into your new favorite shorts? Here you have it!

BlankNYC

Blank NYC The Fulton Ripped Roll-Up Denim Shorts[true to size, wearing size 27] // BP Crewneck T-Shirt[size up! wearing size medium] // Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop [size up .5]

Well well well, these shorts just joined the rankings of my favorites! From the 4″ inseam to the distressing to the rolled up hem, trust me when I say these denim shorts are going to be worn on repeat as soon as things start heatin’ up!

Caslon

Caslon Rolled Denim Boyfriend Shorts [size down one, wearing size 2] // BP Crewneck T-Shirt[size up! wearing size medium] // Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop [size up .5]

A little bit of distressing with a whole lot of love for these shorts! These shorts have been a long time favorite not only by me, but the whole Living In Yellow community, and for good reason! The boyfriend fit with the rolled hem gives them a great fit, and a great style to wear with most any top!

Zella

Zella Camp Shorts [true to size, wearing size small] // BP Crewneck T-Shirt[size up! wearing size medium] // Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop [size up .5]

I’ve always believed that Zella could do no wrong, and these shorts continue to make that a true statement! Super lightweight, elastic waistband, cuffed seam, pockets [why are pockets the best thing ever?!], the cutest ruffled waistband – really, what more could you want [except for it to be 75 degrees ASAP]?

Liverpool

Liverpool Vickie Frayed Hem Denim Shorts[size down one, wearing size 2] // BP Crewneck T-Shirt[size up! wearing size medium] // Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop [size up .5]

You know my love for Liverpool runs denim deep, so you better believe I had to slip into a pair of their shorts. I love the dark wash on these and the bit of stretch the material has! Add in the frayed hem and little side slit, and Liverpool has put together a great pair of shorts!

Kut From The Kloth

Kut from the Kloth Gidget Denim Cutoff Shorts  [true to size, wearing size 4] // BP Crewneck T-Shirt[size up! wearing size medium] // Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop [size up .5]

I’ve been a longtime fan of Kut from the Kloth, and here they are bringing in the shorts. If you like a cutoff style and a mid to low rise style, these might be just what you’re looking for!

Oh, you liked those denim shorts up above? Here they are in white 😉 It’s tough to say no to white denim in the summer, and this is a classic pair to keep in your closet year after year.

There you have it!  Now, all we need is a little bit of warmth and a little bit of sunshine and your new favorite shorts!

As much as I love shorts season [aka summer] I sometimes despise the actual “denim shorts season” itself. Shorts can be tricky. Sometimes they are too tight, too short, too loose and the list of all of the discomforts of shorts goes on. Today, we’re here to put some of those discomforts to rest and […]

If there’s one trend I’m happily hopping on board with, it’s the white sneaker rage. Maybe they never went out of style, maybe it’s more socially acceptable than ever to wear tennies with every. single. outfit. Either way, I’m here for it.
