Valentine’s Day 2021 is right around the corner… So close I can almost taste the heart shaped candy– Reese’s hearts, I’m looking at you. While nothing says romance quite like V-Day, we get it. Your romantic evening might be looking a little bit different this year. But never fear, LIY is here to keep the flame alive. We get it, the ideas for a fun family night in are running dry. You can only play so many games, put together so many puzzles, and watch so many movies. But don’t get discouraged just yet. We’ve found themed evenings are a fun way to get the whole fam involved. And in times like these, it’s acceptable [hey, encouraged] to go a little overboard. So go ahead and get a scoreboard for game nights or set up a projector + screen for movie night. And on Valentine’s Day? Make your dinner heart-shaped, obviously. Pizza, pretzels, and pancakes are a few of my personal favorites, but the world [err, menu] is your heart-shaped oyster. If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere warm in February, you’ll find everything you need for an outdoor movie night here— and if you’re not in a warmer climate [shoutout Midwest!] may we suggest setting it up in the basement?

There’s never been a better time for a date night in and there’s no better excuse to go slightly over the top for this one in particular.
