Why I Love The Always Pan [And The Best Chicken Fried Rice Recipe!]

Disclosure: Thank you to Our Place for sponsoring today’s post. I am so grateful to work with brands and products that I love!

If you’ve spent any time online during the past year, you’ve probably seen more than just one person raving about the Always Pan. After months of hearing about the hype, I had to see for myself what it was all about. After one use, I understood it all. Suddenly, I had one pan that allowed me to do everything I wanted to do when it came to stovetop cooking with virtually zero cleanup [miracles do happen people].

The Always Pan claim to fame is that it is 8 cooking utensils in 1 [including but not limited to Skillet, Non-stick pan, Saucier, Fry Pan, Spatula, Spatula rest (no more messy counters!), Colander, and Steamer (great for a healthy one-pot meal)]. My personal favorite features: we have to start with the non-toxic nonstick ceramic coating that doesn’t contain harmful materials, it is free of Teflon, PTFEs and PFAs. Not only can I cook my food concern free, but I can also wipe up the “mess” from the bottom of the pan in just a few swipes which has made for a very happy after-dinner cleanup. Other favorite features: the built-in spatula and spatula rest is a lifesaver. I always hated sticking my spatula on the stove or countertops and while I’ve always had a spoon rest on my stove I could use, I never wanted to because it was just one more item to put in the dishwasher. I never have to concern myself with where to stick my spatula when not in use anymore. Additionally, I l-o-v-e that each side of the pan has a built-in pour spout which means that anytime I need to drain grease or liquids, I can do so very easily. Last but not least [I could keep going] is the way that it looks. I am absolutely a consumer with the belief of “the cuter the better” and this pan is the best looking kitchen tool I’ve ever owned, just look at all of the fun color offerings!

Long story short, the Always Pan has lived up to its hype and I’m now low-key recommending it to every friend and family member who brings up the word “kitchen, cooking, eating, meals, etc” into any sentence. If you are looking for a cooking tool that will make your enjoyment in the kitchen increase, you want to add this to your cart. In celebration of their brand new color release [how fun is this bold red in the color “heat”], they are offering a Red Hot Bundle which includes the Always Pan in this brand new Heat color, Bamboo steamer, and cooking chopsticks for a special price! Yes, you can have your dumplings and eat them too 😉

Because the Always Pan is known for its ability to make countless one-pan meals, I thought it’d be fun to share a recent favorite recipe I’ve been using my Always Pan for, a delicious and easy Chicken Fried Rice! From start to finish, you will cook everything in this pan, and then when it’s time to eat simply move the pan to the table and it’s ready to serve!

And now for the best One-Pan Chicken Fried Rice recipe that you’ll love making in your Always Pan!

One Pan Chicken Fried Rice

Servings 6

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast diced into 1/2 pieces
  • 3 Tbsp Butter divided
  • 2 Eggs whisked
  • 1 White Onion diced
  • 2 Carrots diced
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Peas
  • 3 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 Cups Short-Grain White Rice cooked and chilled
  • 3 Green Onions sliced
  • 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper

  1. Cook rice according to package in your Always Pan and store in the refrigerator until needed.

  2. Add the sesame oil and vegetable oil to the Always Pan on medium heat. Add in the diced chicken and cook for 3-5 minutes until cooked through, stirring occasionally. Set aside.

  3. Add in 1/2 Tbsp of butter to Always Pan and over medium heat until melted. Add in the whisked eggs and cook until scrambled. Set aside once done.

  4. Add in additional 1 Tbsp of butter to Always Pan and heat until melted. Add in the carrots, peas, onion, garlic, and saute for 5 minutes until the onions and carrots are soft. Season generously with salt and pepper.

  5. Increase your temperature to high and add in the remaining 1 1/2 Tbsp of butter and stir until melted. Add in your cooked white rice, green onions, eggs, chicken, and soy sauce. Stir and saute for 3-5 minutes until well blended. Remove from heat and add additional soy sauce for flavor if needed. Serve immediately and enjoy!

A few last [but important] details on how to keep your Always Pan in the best condition for years of enjoyment:

  • Cook on low to medium heat as often as possible
  • It is recommended that you hand wash the pan with a gentle sponge [included in the packaging] so the non-stick coating lasts many years!
  • Do not place your Always Pan in the oven, it is intended for stovetop cooking only!
