Another day, another outfit built for comfort. If there’s one positive I’m taking away from 2020, it’s been the excuse to dress head to toe in activewear [errr… loungewear] regularly. I haven’t had many excuses to put on “real pants” in the last 11 months and I’m perfectly okay with it. Especially when said activewear [typically used for loungewear in my life] is Zella brand. If you’ve followed along for any length of time, then chances are you already know my love for Zella runs deep. It’s true. I’ve been raving about the Live-In Leggings [that I’ve been living in for years] for years. But if you’re new to Zella gear, there’s a lot more where that goodness comes from.
I’ll skip to the point so you can skip to the shopping. Zella is a Nordstrom-made activewear brand [so you already know it’s going to be good] made for everyone, every size, and every activity. Not only is it cute and comfy for Y-O-U, they carry goods for the guy in your life, and even your mini-me. From XXS to plus sizes, maternity and everywhere in-between [cheers to inclusivity!], Zella is designed to make women look fab- but more importantly, feel fab. And it’s not just for the ladies! Zella is husband approved– just ask Shawn. Since it’s Nordstrom-made, you’ll still get the same free shipping and returns and outstanding customer service you already know and love. If you’re lucky enough to live near a Nords [I envy you], you can take full advantage of buying online and picking up in-store or curbside pickup– because we get it, you’re a busy gal. ps. If your love for Nordstrom runs anywhere near as deep as mine, be sure to join the Nordy Club to earn points while you shop ‘till you drop. It’s super easy and F-R-E-E to join. That’s enough small talk for now. Today I’m sharing a glimpse into what life has looked like around these parts lately [spoiler alert: it features a whole lot of lazy days and Zella ‘fits].
It’s no secret we’re spending a lot of time snuggled up at home these days. Whether you’re on the go lately or soaking up time spent at home sweet home, Zella’s got you both covered. Remember those Live In Leggings I’ve been living in [for literal years]? They pair nicely with something extra cozy up top. May I suggest this fluffy cloud in the form of a jacket? Sherpa material isn’t really Shawn’s style, so he typically opts for joggers and a hoodie. To each their own, I guess..
If you’re noticing a trend here [soft sherpas and leggings], that’s because I tend to be drawn to all-things soft and dreamy. If you too like to wrap up in dreamy fabrics, take my word for it. This Furry Fleece will be your jam. Bonus: it’s available in six colors– one for every day of the week if you wear it two days in a row like yours truly. 😉 And why yes, those are the same Live In High Waist Leggings that I can’t stop, won’t stop talking about [or wearing] anytime soon. They’re buttery soft, smooth, and have been a LIY Lemon Drop favorite for several years. You can thank me later.
Moving on to yet another hoodie I do not ever want to take off of my body. There’s just something about corduroy that takes me a on a trip down memory lane. I’m not sure if it ever went out of style [seriously, who let me be a “fashion blogger”?], but I sure am glad it’s making an appearance in my wardrobe again. And if you can’t get enough, this one is also available in two more additional colors so you can snuggle up back to back to back. Side note: while my leggings have seen a lot of sofa action recently, they have indeed been to the gym in the past AND taken the treadmill for a spin a time or two. Wherever your leggings take you, these are workout friendly while being equally as relaxation-friendly.
Finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for *drumroll please*… let’s hear it for the boy[s]! Just because we’re spending a whole lot of extra time at home nowadays, doesn’t mean your man needs to be sporting his old raggedy sweats from the 90’s. You know the ones. Zella is Shawn tested, Shawn approved [and wife approved]. Most of the guy’s gear is also availble in multiple color options. So when he finds something he loves, go ahead and buy in it every color. Holiday shopping for him? Done, done, and done.
