We are SUPER excited to bring you this month’s Amazon finds, because honestly, these things are just good! There’s no getting around it, they’re just that good! And every month keeps getting better! Maybe we should be embarrassed by the number of things we find ourselves ordering via Prime, but we don’t see ourselves stopping anytime soon! If you haven’t joined the other 100K+ people in the LIY Amazon Finds and Fails Facebook Group, stop what you’re doing and join us! And after you’ve joined us over there, keep on scrolling to see what we found on Amazon this month!
I had seen this shirt all over the internet and even in the closets of some of my friends but had never given it a try — I now know why it’s one of Amazon’s best sellers. I feel like I never know what to wear for a date night out as my typical oversized sweatshirts don’t necessarily ooze with any ounce of sexiness so I love that this top with the mesh arm panels offer at least a little bit of sass. It is oversized so I would size down one but whether you wear it with work pants for the office or jeans for a night out, it’s a top under $25 I think we can all get a lot of use out of.
Becca’s Pizza Stone
Lately we have been in a rush for so many meals, and my solution about once a week has been the cauliflower crust pizza. I feel somehow less guilty with reaching for a frozen pizza if the crust is made of veggies! But the crusts are usually so thin, and they end up falling between the grate cracks in the oven and making a mess. Here enters this pizza stone! It gets the pizza nice and crispy at the bottom, just like placing it on the rack, but without the mess! It’s 15 inches, which is plenty of room for either baking your pizza from the freezer aisle or creating your own from scratch! And if you’d like a quick 30 minute [or less] meal, try out this pizza recipe I adapted from Half Baked Harvest Super Simple to use a frozen cauliflower crust and all the delicious toppings she suggests.
Steph’s Jeans and Sweater
Goodthreads Exposed Hem High-Rise Skinny Jean [TTS, wearing in 10S / Authentic Blue] // Goodthreads Modal Fleece V-Neck Drop-Shoulder Sweatshirt [Size down if between, wearing in M / Heather Grey Large Open Stripe] / New Balance 996 [TTS // Summer Fog/Moroccan Tile]
Ahh Goodthreads, you get me! I have been wearing this sweater for a few months now, and can’t get enough of it! You know those pieces you wear a few days in a row before washing, then immediately put on as soon as they’re out of the dryer? This has faithfully been one of them for me! These jeans though, I’m not as passionate about. I do like them, but for my very straight body (do I have a waist? barely!) they’re not QUITE the right fit! While comfortable in general, the top button and hole could be a little further apart for me since the shape does angle in some at the waist.
Lastly, my beloved New Balance shoes. I have several pairs (gotta take advantage of all these color options!) and gravitate toward them almost daily for travel, running errands and heading to the park with my kids. Love, love, love them!
Hannah’s Towel Holders
We are currently in the process of renovating one of the bathrooms in our home and it has been a project!! If you have done home projects before you may know just how expensive and challenging they are! I fell in love with these Moen towel hooks and hand towel holder but didn’t love the price so I went straight to Amazon and found these amazing dupes at a much better price!! The quality of these Amazon towel hooks and hand towel holder surprised me and all of the screws and pieces you need to hang them came with them!! Overall these were great quality and highly recommend trying them!
URBAN K Women’s Racer Back Jumpsuit [size up if in between, wearing medium for 5’4”] // Liverpool Denim Jacket [size down, wearing small] // Lanzom Women’s Classic Wide Brim Hat [Camel] // Similar Heels on Left // Similar Wedges on Right
Dress it up or dress it down, the world is your oyster! I packed this cute little UNDER $30 number for our recent LA trip [oh hey, sunny and 80-degree temps] knowing I could wear it to the pool as a cover-up OR dress it up for dinner. I found it true to size, wearing my regular medium but would suggest sizing up if in between!
Cassidy’s Drawer Organizers
If you know me, you know organization is not a natural tendency for me! My drawers are constantly a dysfunctional mess! I saw these expandable drawer organizers and had to give them a try! They were so easy to use and I was able to fit everything in my drawer and some! The best part? I have used these for about three weeks now and I am happy to report that my drawer still looks like this! HALLELUJAH!
Lauren’s Acrylic Organizers
Organization is one of my love languages, and when I saw how ridiculously out of control our bathroom linen closet had become, I knew it was time to call in some Amazon reinforcements. I absolutely LOVE these stackable clear drawers. They fit perfectly on one another, easily slide out, and allow me to see what I actually have [rather than digging or accidentally buying multiples]. I used a combination of the 6 ¾ height, 4 ½ height, and one open compartment organizer for my taller items! I organized by body, face, hair, medicine, bath, tanning/sunscreens, nails, etc! So many ways to organize!
I have been a huge DIFF Eyewear fan for a few years now — their shades have outlasted any attempt I’ve accidentally done to destroy them and their styles are classic. I recently wanted a more neutral pair so when I spotted this rose gold option in this classic aviator style, I was sold. They go with literally everything and they fit my face perfectly + are so comfortable even after hours [and hours] of wear. As a bonus, they donate a pair of glasses to a kid in need with every purchase! If you need new sunnies, you may want to give these a try!
Sandals [TTS // Black With Studs
It’s about time to step into spring, and I am prepared with these classic ankle strap sandals! Although the ground is still covered in snow, I was able to test these out recently on our trip to California, and I can attest that they are not only cute but super comfortable too! This is my second pair of shoes from this brand [last year I snagged these two strap sandals and wore them all. summer. long.] and I am a fan! This pair has a classic look with the ankle strap and block heel for comfort, and then the icing on the cake is the delicate, tiny little studs. They give the shoe a little edge, but without going overboard. And I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear them more!
Steph’s Egg Cooker
Dash Rapid Egg Cooker [Aqua]
I have used this egg cooker a few times now and am liking it more and more each time I use it. I find it much quicker than boiling eggs, and like that I don’t feel like I need to watch it as closely. I’m also quite possible the world’s worst egg peeler and have felt like eggs I’ve peeled from my Dash have peeled much easier with far less craters missing.
Hannah’s Wire Baskets
You can never have too many baskets, right?! Well the more the merrier in my book! These nesting baskets were a pleasant surprise! The wood piece at the bottom is removable, they are a sturdy metal and a great size variation!! These make great storage and decor pieces!
Claire’s Cooler Backpack
Corkcicle Eola Bucket Cooler [Rose Quartz]
I fell in love with this backpack cooler the moment I laid eyes on it. Living on the lake, I use coolers often [almost daily, but that’s neither here nor there]. Between boat rides, beach or pool days, and BBQ’s this cutie is going to be getting a LOT of use this summer. Not to mention going hands-free is my jam!
Cassidy’s Bomber Jacket
Okay where are my Core 10 lovers at!? If you don’t have a pair of their leggings yet, do yourself a favor and get your hands on some! I saw this jacket and thought it would be perfect to pair with leggings on those colder days! It truly is a colder weather bomber and has some thickness to it! I loved this jacket and considered it a win but I ultimately decided I didn’t need it, but Becca on the team fell in love with it so I passed it along to her! I would definitely size down if in between!
Hannah’s Floating Shelves
Another Amazon win!!! Who would have thought I would be decorating with items from Amazon — definitely not me! I always get nervous about quality but decided to take a leap of faith on these floating shelves and once again I was shocked!! The wood was a little on the thin side but the shelves aren’t holding a ton so it didn’t bother me! It did come with everything you needed to install and easy to read instructions which made the husband happy! Added a couple of knick knacks and BAM bathroom is done!
Daily Ritual Super Soft Jumpsuit [TTS, wearing XS in grey]
Okay say hello to your favorite cozy jumpsuit! I was on the fence about this jumpsuit until I put it on, talk about comfort! This jumpsuit is the coziest thing I have slipped into in months! I recently wore this to the airport/while traveling [just pair it with a denim jacket!] and it is perfect for lounging around the house! Calling this one a win!
Erin’s Beach Bag + Maxi Dress
This maxi dress has now went on many trips with me and has served its purpose perfectly every time. While you can wear it as a normal maxi dress [I love it with a denim jacket over!] it also doubles as a swimsuit coverup for your days around the pool or at the beach. It’s super comfy and not sheer. Now for that cute bag hanging on my arm — this beach bag is my new vacay staple. Not only is it waterproof, it has a million and ten pockets to fit all of your snacks, water, phone, sunscreen, towels and everything else you need while soaking up the sun. We used this every day in St Kitts and even my husband agreed it’s a good one. Grab your sunnies and go, the water is calling.
For your Pinning pleasure…
