4 Feast Ready Looks from Lord + Taylor

November 29, 2019

Disclosure: Thank you to Lord + Taylor and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected, purchased and worn by yours truly!

And just like that, the holidays are here and in full swing. It seems like just yesterday I was dripping sweat poolside [I typically run hot, but that’s neither here nor there]. In the blink of an eye, potatoes are being mashed, turkeys are being roasted, and pumpkins are being pied. With all the hustle and bustle of the season, I have two things on my mind: feasting and holiday shopping. Why is it my favorite time of year you may ask? Because we’re lucky enough to do both in the same week.

I get it, the Holidays can be stressful. Insert Lord + Taylor. Not only am I opting to dress for comfort [and additional helpings of grub], I’m also aiming for style. Lord + Taylor is my one stop shop when it comes to dressing myself AND treating others this holiday season. They carry a ton of our favorite brands like Sam Edelman, Democracy, and Franco Sarto— making it easy to treat yo-self while you check everyone off your list this year. BONUS: right now [November 26th – December 1st] you get 50-80% off almost all SmartSteals [items that are excluded from coupons, but still marked down to ahh-mazing price points] and you
can use with code FRIDAY to receive $100 of your $200+ purchase storewide now until 12/1, exclusions apply. I think we can all agree that’s something to be thankful for!

Lord & Taylor Essential Cashmere Crewneck Sweater [true to size, wearing small in Teak Brown] // Democracy Stretched Cropped Jeggings [true to size] // Sam Edelman Trailblazer Hilty Leather Booties [true to size]

When it comes to feast-ready looks, my only existing requirement is comfort. Really, just how many servings of green bean casserole can these pants withstand? Unless the answer is “the limit does not exist” then I’m not interested. A good pair of jeggings takes you from the dinner table, to a nap on the couch, and back to the table again for round two.

Today’s forecast? Sweater [dress] weather. A sweater dress is an easy way to elevate a “comfy” outfit. Truly, the perfect balance of cozy and chic. Bonus: it’s forgiving [for an extra slice of pie or two] but still put-together for a special occasion!

Larry Levine Faux-Fur Hooded Coat [true to size, wearing size small]

Can we talk about the to and fro of the holidays? If you’re from anywhere in the world where it gets chilly this time of year, you know the struggle is real when it comes to finding a balance between dressing for warmth and dressing for style. A faux fur coat paired with a fun bootie is an easy way to comfortably get from Point A to Point B without sacrificing style!

Marc New York Performance Asymmetric Draped-Front Tunic [true to size, wearing small] // Spanx Look at Me Now Seamless Leggings [size up if in between, wearing small]

Saving one of my favorite feast-ready looks for last! There’s just something about a drape front tunic that screams “Eat a full-course meal in me”. The asymmetrical draping adds a flattering touch perfect for all the holiday treats. Sure, I might feel like a stuffed turkey, but at least my outfit is far from it.
