All I really want to say throughout this post is “wow, it’s so good” but I realize that if that’s the only thing I say you’ll have no idea what I’m really talking about. I could try to drag out the suspense, but I feel passionate that you need to know this nugget of truth as soon as possible – Athleta athleisure is the best on the market. There, I said it, and I feel it is 110% true.

Before I jump into all of the reasons why I think Athleta is the best, can we talk about athleisure for a minute? Also known as “the only type of clothing I actually want to wear on a daily basis while out and about or while laying on the couch at home”. It’s that comfy, effortless, easy to move in type of clothing that gives off the look that you may have just come from the gym [or you may not have, but it’s good to keep people guessing]. To summarize, it’s the stuff that dreams are made out of. So what happens when you find really, really, good pieces of athleisure? Well, it looks like this.

So many readers have told me over the years just how much they love Athleta so I finally took the plunge and decided to try several pieces for myself that I could rock this fall as I run errands, get a workout in, travel, or tend to whatever life brings my way that particular day. I was immediately blown away by the quality and the feel of all of the luxe fabrics when I opened my box of goodies [so much so I instantly made the team feel them as well which immediately filled the room with “oooohs” and “aahhhs”].

When I spotted these Elation Ultra High Rise Shimmer Tight In Powervita™   I knew I wanted to give them a try, but wanted some tops that could pair well with them. One glance at their new arrivals and my cart was full. The verdict? The leggings are like BUTTER and the tops? Even softer. OH. And don’t get me started on these Kinetic Lace Sneakers by Sorel® .  Actually, do, because they are worth talking about. I had no idea that Sorel had sneakers [I’ve worn their boots for years] but whoa, if you are looking for shoes that will feel good on your feet all day and night long, these are a great go-to!

I am obsessed with this Inlet Vest as it is so light [literally, like a cloud],  perfectly packable and a great layering piece as the temps start to cool down. However, a vest is only as good as the top underneath and friends, if there is one top I wish you could feel it’s this Cloudlight Rib V Neck Top. Soft doesn’t begin to explain it. Plus, put thumb holes on anything and I’m all “yup, sold’.

Last but certainly not least, I wore the outfit below recently for a super casual dinner and walk with the dogs and the number of times I said to Shawn “hey, feel me” during the course of the dinner and the walk is more times than I should probably admit to. Even he couldn’t believe how great the fabrics felt. It’s true – Athleta was made for you to move.
