Disclosure: Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post.
I’m so excited to give you a SECOND sneak peak of the upcoming Gibson x LIY Collection, launching exclusively at Nordstrom.com April 23rd! A few of us ventured to one of the most beautiful US towns I’ve ever been to to take this collection’s photos- Savannah, Georgia. If you’ve never been, add it to your bucket list! I’m already trying to think through how I can move our office there ASAP. While I work through those details [ya know, like “how to move seven girls and their families to Georgia”], take a look at the shoes that worked perfectly with the new collection, and that I consider to be must-haves in my closet throughout the Spring and Summer!
All of the shoes we used for the photoshoot and that are my go-tos are from Nordstrom. You probably know by now that Nordstrom is one of my favorite places to shop, not only for the amazing brands they carry [including Gibson], but for their great customer service and different ways to shop. If you’re lucky enough to live near a Nordstrom, you can take advantage of order online pick up in store, or even curbside pickup [yes, you read that right- you don’t have to leave your car!]. For the rest of us who are nowhere near a store, we can take advantage of free shipping and free returns, which is extremely helpful when you aren’t sure on sizing, colors, or styles! Maybe a few of the pieces I’m loving will make their way into your home via free shipping, and get your tootsies set for Spring too!
Now, let’s get to the shoes!
The newest wedge to the shoe closet party is this pair of Caslon Shiloh Espadrilles! The leather is extremely soft, and the heel height is only 3 1/2 inches [verses my usual 4 1/4″]. It’s amazing what a difference that little bit makes! So for days that I’m looking for extra comfort, but still need some height, these are a great go-to option. They are available in a bunch of colors [including the prettiest gold], a few of which might need to make their way to my house…
Converse has been around for who knows how many years. Probably since before I was born [immediately asks Alexa- the answer is 111 years. Dang]. But for good reason! And the Shoreline Sneakers are SO good! You can wear them with a skirt [hint hint, up above!], a dress, jeans, shorts, skorts, sweats, anything! Wear them to the baseball field or wear them to the mall!
The second I can bust out my open toe shoes for the year, these are the first [and usually only] heels I go for. I have them in more colors than I should admit. They are super comfortable for the heel height, as in I can wear them for work or play for several hours and not feel like my feet are going to fall off. And did I mention they come in SO many cute colors and prints?
Sam Edelman Gigi Sandal [size up .5]
The Sam Edelman Gigi Sandal has been showing their face around this blog for quite some time now, because just like their high heeled sister [the Yaro above] they are SO comfortable and come in a ton of colors and prints! These are my everyday sandal- to the river, to the grocery store, to girls night, I wear them all the time.
Sam Edelman Hazels are my favorite closed toe heel! I have them in so many colors because they’re the perfect height, the styling is extremely classic [not going to replace them every year or two because the trend is done], and they’re super comfortable!
Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop [size up .5]
These flip flops are a *bit* of a splurge, but they come from a brand that’s known for their quality! The fun Tory Burch design adds a bit of flair to an otherwise simple looking sandal! If you’re looking for a designer pair of shoes [some prefer purses, some prefer shoes!], these would be my choice.
Treasure & Bond Sannibel Platform Wedge Sandal [size up .5]
These Treasure & Bond wedges have been a staple in my closet for two years in a row now. I wear them all the time, and have even welcomed a few additional colors into my closet. They’re so comfortable, elongate your legs, and go with so many outfits!
And there you have it! My favorite shoes for Spring! Do you have any of these in your closet already?
For your Pinning pleasure…
