What to Wear for Valentine’s Day

February 1, 2019

By:

Erin Schrader

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, it’s the perfect time to bust out all things pink and red [as if the other 364 days a year weren’t the perfect time…]. Maybe it’s the Northern Indiana dreariness of this time of year, or maybe it’s cupid himself, but something is telling me I need all things bold and bright in preparation for February 14th. While some people may deck out in head-to-toe red, pink, hearts, and arrows, I’m all about keeping it simple and making sure it’s a piece I can get use out of over and over. The more places I can wear it the better- work, date night, girls night, the works! And that’s where these two tops come into play.

Top [wearing in Small] // Jeans // Boots // Earrings

I love this cute blouse with its tie sleeves! It’s the perfect flowy top that could be worn with jeans for a more casual look, or a pair of black dress pants and heels for work! The tie sleeves add a bit of an extra feminine flare, which seems fitting for v-day!

Sweater [wearing in Small] // Jeans // Boots // Earrings

Next up, how cute is this sweater?! From the waist up, this is your traditional v-neck sweater. But then they go and throw things for a loop with a sweet little side tie to get it a whole new look! Valentine’s magic, I tell ya!
