Why You should Visit the Eiffel Tower Twice [at least!]

January 29, 2019

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, and no trip to Paris is quite complete without snagging a glimpse of this towering beauty. If this is your first Parisian experience, I would say that just one glimpse is not enough! In fact, I would suggest that even if your trip is short, set aside two separate visits to the Eiffel Tower during your stay.

First, go visit the tower during the day. Take in the sheer enormity and the incredible infrastructure. Snap the classic photos to share on Instagram or to text your friends and family. And if you like, head up to the top for some beautiful views!

But if that is your only visit to the Eiffel Tower, you are missing out on something remarkable! The tower is beautifully lit with lights at night, but every hour on the hour for 5 minutes the lights will sparkle and glitter. It is quite the breathtaking and romantic experience that you don’t want to miss! Head to Place du Trocadero before sun down for the very best views. Bring a coffee or some champagne and be prepared to wait — it is worth it! Snag your spot early, people will be flooding in to see the stunning views!

Two trips to the same location, and two very different and exciting experiences! Bon voyage and enjoy Paris!
