To make sure your sparkle is ready to shine to its full potential, I’m bringing you a few different looks for your NYE choices, whether you’re staying in or going out, there’s an option for you in today’s post. The good news is that there’s still time to order in time to get your festive threads in for the big night! Let’s start this party with our most casual option of the group [aka, what I’ll most likely be rockin’ out in]….
Comfy Casual
If you’re hanging TV side this NYE, a festive but comfy sweatshirt and a bottle of champs is really all you need to get by! I found this sweatshirt at Old Navy for a whopping $10 which is about what I prefer my budget to be for holiday specific items!
Dressy Casual
Let’s say you’re still staying in, but maybe going to a friends party or you’re hosting a party and you want to be just a little bit fancier. I’ve got two options for you that are equally as comfortable as they are festive and fun! We’ll start with option number one, my go-to for all nights out it seems these days – my favorite convertible neck tunic and faux leather leggings!
Our Gibson x Living in Yellow Ribbed Cowl Neck Sweater is so fun because you can wear it to match your mood. Feeling feisty? Fold that fabric down and show those shoulders off! Want to play it a little more safe [and/or wear a regular bra] rock it as a cowl neck!
For the next dressy yet super comfortable look, I’m bringing you satin joggers because hello, joggers.
I simply paired the joggers with a lace cami and faux leather jacket to give my outfit a little bit of edge [it’s always fun to dress cooler than you actually are]. I was unsure of how it would all pair together but I think I may just love it. The best part? If you have too much bubbly by the end of the night and forget to change out of your clothes, you’re wearing joggers which feel like pajamas, so you’re good to go. Double win.
Dressed to the Nines
Let’s pretend I wasn’t a static mess when taking these outfit pictures and that this outfit looks good on [Indiana winters and static are REAL. Holy dry]. Let’s also pretend that my legs are 50 shades of white. ANYHOW. If you’re going OUT and want to be the star of the party, this is the outfit for you! I am borderline obsessed with this sequin skirt and all of the party vibes it is giving me. Somebody pass the Rose please, this girl is ready to party.
So there you have it friends, 4 easy to achieve outfits to say peace out to 2018 in and helllllllllllo all things 2019!
