7 Swimsuit Coverups I’m Loving For Summer!

Do you know what’s better than wearing a swimsuit? Being covered up in a swimsuit 😉 There’s something about throwing on a cute little cover-up that can instantly boost one’s confidence at the beach, pool or in the kitchen come dinner time after a day of rockin’ a suit. Whether it be a pullover, wrap, romper or maxi – there’s a style for everybody this summer. Today I’m bringing you 7 of the hottest swimsuit trends to wear this summer which will have you covered all summer long.

First things first, the pullover. I am obsessed with everything about this crochet tunic coverup [bonus – it’s currently on sale!] which covers just enough to feel like you could totally walk into your local waterside restaurant after a day on the boat but yet is lightweight enough so you don’t feel like you’re wearing a parka in the middle of summer. Always a good goal to have.

Next up, we have the wrap skirt coverup trend. This is a great choice if you don’t want something over everything but just enough to hide the thighs when going to or from your warm weather destination.

Third, we’ve got the pullover style again, however, this coral cutie has a cute little cap sleeve giving those arms room to breathe. Lined yet breezy, I can’t get enough of this color or style.

Next up, my beloved romper. This coverup is so comfortable and I love that you can use it for more purposes than just over a swimsuit. Whether it’s with a bralette out and about or as pjs to sleep in, this romper will have you covered no matter what the circumstance is.

We can’t talk about coverups without bringing in a caftan topped off with poms and a fun tropical print. This screams vacation to me and also apparently screams “dogs! come and lick me!” but that’s neither here nor there. I love the flirty little lace-up detail and did I mention the poms yet? Summer has never looked better..

Lace Up Floral & Stripe Caftan

An evergrowing swimsuit trend is the easy, breezy kimono. Super airy and but enough to not feel like you’re walking around in a swimsuit and swimsuit only all day at the beach or pool. If you like the idea of light coverage, this style may just be the ticket.

Last but certainly not least, one of my favorite coverup trends – the maxi dress. I love this because you can wear it for this purpose and then the next day wear it as a dress for date night. We call this versatility aka awesome. I don’t know about you but this particular maxi makes me want to book a vacation stat and get a pina colada in my hands pronto.

As much as I love shorts season [aka summer] I sometimes despise the actual “denim shorts season” itself. Shorts can be tricky. Sometimes they are too tight, too short, too loose and the list of all of the discomforts of shorts goes on. Today, we’re here to put some of those discomforts to rest and […]

If there’s one trend I’m happily hopping on board with, it’s the white sneaker rage. Maybe they never went out of style, maybe it’s more socially acceptable than ever to wear tennies with every. single. outfit. Either way, I’m here for it.
