Change Your Face Overnight

I am a sucker for skin care products and would venture to guess that many of you are too. Except sometimes it can be hard to distinguish between what is just pretty packaging full of promises vs pretty packages that really work. You may recall a couple of months ago when I first shared this Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Serum and the powerful [real] impacts it had on the quality of my skin. Hundreds of you also decided to put the product to the test, including my mom, and the reviews I’ve received from all of you have been stellar.

When I learned that Kiehl’s recently released a new Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask that you leave on OVERNIGHT, I was intrigued. I already knew that the brand is legit based on my previous experience so trying this was a no-brainer. The fact that I can simply put it on and then slip into bed seconds later is worth it alone. Here’s what makes it great: aside from the fact of the already mentioned ability to leave it on overnight, the powerful duo of ginger leaf + hibiscus makes for a formula that provides smoother skin instantly. With use over time, the ginger leaf works to soften fine lines and wrinkles. Anything that can offer instant results AND overtime results is a product I can stand behind. It also doesn’t hurt that it comes in the most beautiful pink jar and the cream itself is a luscious shade of blush.

Here’s how you use:

  1. Simply get a small amount on your finger and apply in an upward motion to an already clean face.
  2. Once rubbed in [rub it all the way in] simply go about your nightly routine. For me, that means crawling into bed and winding down for a few minutes before falling asleep.
  3. In the morning, simply wash your face as normal with a wet washcloth and voila, all done! You’ve been masked.

It is recommended to use the mask five times a week for optimal results. I love that when I read this, I know it’s totally attainable due to the fact that the only thing I have to do is rub something in and then go to bed [no setting an alarm for 15 minutes later to crawl out of bed to wash it off].

I have been using it for two weeks now and continue to love the results I am noticing between the firmer skin [peace out little wrinkles] and a softer, more supple skin texture. Results I think we are all striving for.
