Where are all of my Valentine’s Day lovers at? You’ve got approximately [okay, exactly] 25 days until the big day. If you’re anything like me, you prefer your romantic dinner to be at Chick-fil-A [except I’m serious] and like to go with a casual cute flowy top rather than an ultra revealing bodycon dress. Not that I have anything against revealing bodycon dresses, I just have a problem with them when I’m shoving my face full of waffle fries and chicken nuggets.
Today I thought it would be fun to bring you two different feminine and flirty, yet still allow you to eat that big ole slice of cheesecake for dessert, looks with Nordstrom. They have a huge selection of women’s wear in all different price points [my favorite being under $50] that are sure to please this V-Day. When choosing the two looks I decided on, I went with something pink and something peplum. Two feminine touches that are sure to please. Let’s jump into look number one….

This cross front long sleeve blouse is the perfect go-to shirt for your casual date out or night in at home. I love that it gives a little bit of sex appeal without revealing too much. Leave a little bit of mystery for later ladies 😉 Available in several different color options [the black and white floral is my favorite] and plenty of flow you can dress this up with your favorite black jeans and heels or make things a little less formal with distressed jeans and booties like I did.
For the next look, I went with a little more layered option because if there is one thing this girl loves, it’s layers. Because I am a rebel, I mixed it all up with black, brown and gold tones. By taking a peplum tee and pairing it with an edgy faux leather jacket, it’s a fun way to play off two different vibes.

I love how it all works and comes together perfectly while giving off a subtle hint to your man that you would like to go out. We all know they can use hints whenever possible.
