Well kids, the day that our husbands have all been looking forward to is finally approaching – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming to a quick halt after this weekend is over. As sad as I am to see it go, the better off my wallet will be [it’s got a lot of recovering to do]. After Sunday all prices will go back up to regular prices [but whhhhhhhhhhhhhhy]. I know a lot of items from my first post featuring everything I purchased and my thoughts on fit/quality/etc sold out quickly, however there is still a ton of really awesome pieces available which I thought I would showcase here for your shopping pleasure. Let’s do this thing – section by section.
Tops // Sweaters
1.
BP Plaid Tunic Shirt [
$44 –> $28.90] Size down one, wearing an XS here. Still available in many different color options and sizes! Lightweight and super comfortable!
2.
Caslon Space Dye Sweatshirt [
$49 –>$29.90] Size down one, wearing an XS. This is available in all sizes in 4 colors. I didn’t love it on the website however after I received it in person I did – you can never go wrong with a comfy sweatshirt and it’s long enough to wear with
leggings, winning.
3.
The Best Basic Tee [
$25–>$17.90]- True to size, wearing small. This is absolutely one of my favorite finds from the sale [so much I ordered it in 5 colors!] It is the perfect fit – not too tight, not too loose and I love the quality of it.
4.
The Best Basic Long Sleeve Tee [
$29 –> $17.90]- Runs true to size. Originally ordered an XS but returned for my normal size of Small. I love this for all fall and winter long – perfect alone or under any cardigan!
5.
Strappy Tank [
$30–>$19.90]- Runs true to size, wearing a size small. I just got this in today and fell in love immediately [it doesn’t take much]. The back has the fun straps as well and I love how easily this piece can transition from summer to fall by pairing with a jacket. Available in a few different colors!
7.
Pleione Split Neck Mixed Media Tunic [
$59–>$39.90] Order one size down, wearing an XS. This baby feels so great on as it is a little thicker of a material and not sheer. Available in tons of colors! I love the length on this and also appreciate that I can wear it to work or for play. Just a little note – it did come quite wrinkly however others have told me when they washed it the first time all of the wrinkles came right out!
8.
Pleione Bell Sleeve Top [
$68–>$44.90] Runs true to size, wearing a size small. Still available in a ton of different colors – one of my most favorite items from the sale this year!
As far as jeans go – here are my favorites that are still in stock, however there are still SO many great choices [especially these and these!] so be sure to check em’ all out here.
Live In Leggings – I ordered an XS and they fit great [consider sizing down one]. These babies are SO comfortable, not sheer, don’t get all ratty after washed and apparently stay in great condition wear after wear, etc.
Barefoot Dreams Travel Shawl – one size fits all. Obsessed with this cozy thing, it’s freaking incredible and so soft. Here’s the deal with it – it’s truly like a blanket that just sits on top of you and wraps itself all around you. It doesn’t actually have arms which threw me for a loop when I originally opened it but after I put it on I couldn’t care less. I will wear this thing when traveling and/or doing anything in life.
On a similar note, this cardigan shawl thing also looks somewhat amazing so there’s that.
All about them shoes. The amount of still in stock booties, over the knee boots, flats, heels and everything in between that are still available shouldn’t be legal. These are my downfall guys. My favorites from the sale that are still in stock are these over the knee boots, these wedges, my beloved Frye Riding Boots and of course my favorite cutout ankle booties.
Phew – I think that covers everything for now. Remember, free shipping – free returns – basically free clothes [at least that’s what I keep telling Shawn ;)]. Oh real quick – I know it’s a little odd to think about
winter coats when you are sweating your balls off in the dead of summer, however there are a ton left at awesome prices so be
sure to check those out if you live in one of those states that hates you [myself included] for 6 months out of the year.
