Well the good news is today marks the last day of our California trip, the bad news is it took me approximately two months post vacation to get to this point. Better late than never right? I hope you all enjoyed following along on our adventures and more than that, hope it has inspired some of you to consider Southern California for your next trip as I 100% believe you will not be disappointed. That is unless you take public transportation down to Tijuana which is what my sister decided to do when in sunny San Diego so yeah, I guess you could ruin it.
On our last and final day of vaca we decided to venture a short drive away from our hotel and go over to one of our favorite places, Coronado Island, where we rented bikes for the day. This place is truly like a fantasy land except real (ish) people live on it where they walk around, ride bikes, drive really expensive cars, drink fine juices, hang out on beaches, pick fresh flowers, and probably not poop. I don’t know what you have to do [besides make a lot of money] to live there but I need to find an alternative and doable option. Alas, here are the last [million] photos from our trip! Enjoy! [pssst // I’ve gotten a few questions about what camera I used on our trip, and well – here she is. small enough you just throw it in your purse yet it takes awesome photos and can send them over to your phone automatically thanks to the built-in wifi]
After eating at a little pizza place outside while watching that massive Navy ship sail on by [which I must say was pretty awesome to see in person] and taking in the San Diego skyline, we made our way to the back of the island to Hotel Del Coronado for a little cocktail hour on the beach. This hotel is always one of my favorites to visit, reasons shown why below.
It really was the prettiest of ways to end our trip…until next time Cali [t minus 16 days], it’s been real. Thanks for your endless supply of sunshine, warmth, and happiness in my solo cup.
