Girl Talk

July 29, 2015

Alright ladies, it’s time for a good ole round of girl talk. For whatever reason I can’t understand, my husband isn’t always into all things Bachelorette and pineapple based alcoholic drinks. Weird I know.

Lets start with The Bachelorette. OMG. That’s really all I have to say. Before I start chanting team Shawn and allow the tears to run down my face [that may have happened, I have a life. I know] let me just say that this dang show gets me every freaking time. I thought for sure Nick was in like Flynn because well, he was in if you know what I mean. But then, oh but then – at that magical moment when his limo showed up first I knew it was game over for him. The fist pounds erupted, the hands over the heart motion never stopped and all that is good in life came together at that very moment. Needless to say, Monday night was a wonderful night in my life. To celebrate such a momentous occasion, I had a few girls over to tune into the show with me and feast our mouths on all things necessary for a bachelorette finale party. Cheese and alcohol obvs.

And here is where my next bout’ of due diligence happens as a female blogger. As you know, I am not opposed to alcohol. In fact, I might even venture to say I enjoy drinking it from time to time [gasp!] Recently I was at my local grocery store and laid my eyes upon this Palm Breeze stuff. And I thought “Pineapple Mandarin Orange?! AND Ruby Red Citrus?!? Mama can get down on this!!” Thankfully, my thoughts didn’t let me down because believe me – mama can get down on this stuff. So much so that I haven’t stopped drinking it from when I bought my first round in early June. Every week since I have picked up another round of each flavor every time I’m at the grocery store. Unfortunately [or fortunately] I can’t choose my favorite flavor between the two so I keep having to buy both.

To sum it all up – Palm Breeze is a malt beverage [found mine in the beer aisle] that is targeted to women who enjoy spending time with their girlfriends, traveling, soaking up the sun, and loves to have fun. Fortunately I like all of the above so I feel like a gem of a gem drinking it. It has a nice little carbonation to it and the flavors are so perfectly Summer it’s almost like I feel myself getting tanner just drinking it.

I love it so much I served it up earlier this Summer at my friends baby shower [which received rave reviews from the guests] and always have it in our cooler out on the boat.

I realize that I just got a little emotional and over the top talking about a drink but when you find something you love, you gotta shout it from the rooftops ya heard? And that concludes my love for all things Shawn and Palm Breeze.

What else can we talk about that our husbands don’t care about? Write something below in the comments – it’ll be a giant girl hangout session. Grab a drink and stay awhile, lets get this party started.
