I wonder if it’s a problem when you start measuring time in
Stitch Fix orders? For the past 34 months of my life I have received a fix and for the past 34 months of my life I have never loved my closet more. For my past fix, I had requested items that would be good for me to wear at the conference I recently attended in Arizona. In layman’s terms this means: bright colors, lightweight, fun details, and easy to pack. Thankfully my stylist Layla is able to read right into my subliminal messages and delivered on all of the above. Literally. I opened my box and upon first sight I said “yep. keeping it all”. Oh
Stitch Fix, you are just so good.
Before I show you my five items, keep in mind that tips for Stitch success include pinning items that you see and love, being detailed in your stylist notes both when requesting items and also when returning items and keep an open mind throughout the process. One my very favorite things about this service is that my stylist sends items that I may not normally pick off a rack and try. But because they show up smack dab on my doorstep and I am able to try them on in the comfort of my own bedroom (or heck, kitchen) and see what else I have already on hand that I can pair it with, I find myself stepping out of my fashion box.
Alright, here we go.
1. 41Hawthorn McQue Solid Lace Sleeve Blouse – Small
The color, the lace arms, it’s all perfection. Needless to say I knew without trying it on it was a keeper. And then when I did try it on…all the yes’s were confirmed.
2. Pixley Ashton Crochet Lace Kimono – Small
This one I was slightly on the fence about only because I have something that is somewhat similar but then I remembered country concert season is quickly upon us and what is better to wear to a country concert than this? Exactly. Jake Owen can’t turn lace kimonos down. At least that’s how I am justifying this keeper.
3. Wells Grace Emmy Embroidered Lattice Detail Blouse – Small
Without a doubt, my very favorite item from this fix. I am obsessed with not only the navy blue color but all of the goodness that is going on in the back. Plus, it’s flowy meaning I can eat all of the french fries and drink all of the beer this Summer and it won’t even matter. You want this tank – pin it now and allow all of your wildest dreams to come true.
4. Just Black Aaron Distressed Skinny Jean – 2
So I opened my box [this always sounds a little dirty but I digress] and I thought – “jeans, ehhhh I don’t really need more jeans”. And then I tried them on. OH MY WORD. I need these jeans. And I need like 12 more pair at least. They are perfectly distressed and beyond comfortable. The only bummer to these? I never want to take them off. So yes, I’m that wife sleeping in jeans now. Thanks
Stitch Fix for upping my sexy game like no other.
5. Pixley Fiona Maxi Dress – Small
Well shoot, I think I lied to you all. So I know that I said that tank up above was my favorite item in this fix however this dress is pretty much everything. For starters it’s a maxi so it’s obviously winning at life already. But then it has stripes and lace and it’s form fitting [meaning now I can’t eat all of the french fries danggit] and it’s just wonderful. Minus the whole no fries thing but you’ll have that.
And that concludes April’s fix — which item is your personal favorite? I’d love to hear.
