Ahhhh – the beloved Valentines Day weekend has arrived. While I love a day dedicated to being extra sweet, an appropriate time to write dirty cards, and even more so – a time eat an abundance of steak with my boo [throwback term] – I also love a day to hang with just my girls, shower them with love, eat chocolate in excess, and talk about every little thing we want to just because we can.
Today is Galentines Day friends and I’m here to celebrate.
Tonight a few of us ladies are heading out on the town to watch 50 Shades of Grey (the floodgates of comments about my decision to see the movie may open now – more on that later perhaps), get a drink, and then drown ourselves in the goodness of Skinny Cow blissful truffle candy bars (milk or dark chocolate, the choice is yours), creamy iced coffee (available in Vanilla Latte, Mocha Latte & Creamy Cappuccino), and top it all off with chocolate dipped ice cream bars (Vanilla Almond Crunch, Double Caramel Swirl and Triple Chocolate Ripple).
I recently discovered these treats and oh my goodness, I am hooked. These chocolate bars are so light and fluffy – yet so full of chocolate. I took a bite, stopped, and then stared at the package thinking “BUT HOW. HOW DID THEY DO THIS?”
Speaking of Skinny Cow products — they recently conducted a survey about Valentine’s Day and the results kinda surprised me.
