It’s crazy what looking at a few photos of yourself smiling can do for your mood. I sat down to write tonight feeling tired, overwhelmed, slightly defeated, behind on everything in life, worn out, stressed out, and beyond ready for bed. But then I pulled up these photos taken the other week and as I sat here looking at the smile on my face, the sparkle in my eye, and the lack of everything I’m currently feeling, I started to feel more like the girl in those photos up above. It’s amazing what a simple smile can do, even when it’s your own. I needed to see these photos tonight to be reminded of how no matter what I may be feeling in this moment, I am happy, I am grateful, and I am abundantly blessed. Go show off that smile of yours, you never know who’s day you just may make…even [and especially] if it’s just your own.
