A WALK IN THE PARK

April 3, 2014

By:

Erin Schrader

that would be me, walking in the park today. in some serious workout clothes obviously.
So it turns out that I am actually enjoying this whole working out thing [says everybody on day two..wait until day 47]. But seriously, so far so good. The weird and almost bothersome thing is that ever since this challenge started I haven’t ate that horrible (forget the two vending size bags of chips I had this morning at work) nor have I had much alcohol to drink. For example, I was going to go to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast this morning but then opted not to and just eat a breakfast bar instead. WHO DOES THAT?! Freaks, that’s who. Before you know it I am going to be munching on kale and drinking spinach. Lord help me never get to that point. Not that there is anything wrong with eating kale and drinking spinach, but I prefer to enjoy life. Not saying that those of you who eat kale and drink spinach don’t enjoy life…buuuuuuut lets be real.
Speaking of real, I have a fancy little lady I would like you all to meet [one whom I’m sure you’ve already met so yes, somewhat of a buzz kill I know but bare with me].
That pretty face would be Lindsay from Pursuit of Pink. It’s always weird claiming that you go way back with somebody who you have never actually met in real life before, but legit we go way back. I feel like I have known Lindsay for the majority of my blogging journey. I’m pretty sure it was her complexion that drew me to her originally. I know that sounds very on the surface, but hey, a great complexion is hard not to pay attention to. Then of course she had to go and be the freaking sweetest female ever so yeah, I was stuck loving her.
Lindsay writes about all things life (including but not limited to being a mother and wife), fashion, skin care
and anything else that tickles her fancy. It’s a little awkward because I want to eat her daughter.
I mean seriously. I have never seen a ladybug look so cute.
Recently she also became a consultant for Rodan + Fields (heeeeey yo, I just wrote about that) and thought it would be nice to give you all a little something. Well thank you Lindsay, we like little somethings around here. If you contact Lindsay at lindsaytolar@gmail.com, she will waive your preferred customer fee when using the code ERIN. This means you will receive 10% off your order and free shipping, without having to pay the $20 fee. If I were you, I would take advantage (and quickly) of this. LIY tested and obsessed approved. She is also giving you all the chance to win a free body microdermabrasion.
I would highly recommend paying Lindsay a visit and saying hello, because if you don’t….
well, she may just shoot your eyeball out.
