As of recent, I have been brainstorming a few new ideas for this little blog of mine. And well, a few of those ideas are actually coming into fruition as of today. Don’t you love when something actually happens that you planned on happening? It’s amazing what a little bit of effort behind an idea will do. Mind blowing revelation I tell you.
So the first idea happened after Influence Conference when I realized that talking blogging strategy makes me one happy cat. Well, a happy dog. Cats don’t make me happy. I almost felt like I couldn’t talk enough about this blogging shaz, so you can imagine how sad I was when I returned home to a husband who can only take hearing the words “link-up, sponsor, social media followers” so much.
I knew I had to create an opportunity that would allow me to get all of my “blog strategy talk” out of my system while getting to know you bloggers on a more personal level. Hence this little baby:
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. I am excited, I’ll admit it. You + Me. Learning//growing//sharing//experimenting….Together. Does life get any more fabulous? I think not.
It doesn’t matter if you have 2 followers or 2,000 followers, I believe wholeheartedly this will benefit you in some way, shape, or form. And if it doesn’t? Well then that sucks.
Just kidding, we will make sure this doesn’t happen. I am a firm believer that a system like this will help reap a lot more results than a sidebar ad, but that’s just my two cents on it.
Speaking of sidebar ads though (don’t worry, I have you covered on all angles), I have changed around my options and even included a new one in there for you. Here they are ladies and gents:
**Please note that if you have already booked your spot with me for future months you are still getting what you paid for. No panty twists happening here**
Annnnnd last but not least, I have enrolled the help of one of my favorite (read: favorite) bloggers to share a recipe with you all every now and again. Her name is Amanda and her blog is one of the most beautiful spaces on the internet—Marshalls Abroad. Amanda and her husband are currently residing in the most fabulous place on earth, Japan, and she does an amazing job of documenting it all.
On top of this, she creates some of the most delectable looking items. I think you will enjoy all of her goodness. Today I am sharing with you this Seasonal White Sangria (now would be an appropriate time to remind you that it is necessary to have alcohol at family functions over the Holidays..)
Enjoy 🙂
Seasonal White Sangria
{serves 6}
2 Bottles Crisp, White Wine {I used a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough}
1 Bottle Sparkling Apple Cider
1 Orange, sliced
1 Apple, sliced
1 C. Fresh Cranberries
Fresh Mint Leaves
Add all of the ingredients; stir and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!!
Thank you so much Amanda for sharing this amazingess with us all.
Go visit her blog pronto…trust me, you’ll never want to leave.
So there we have it friends.
What do you think of these new ideas? Be honest.
Well nice honest 😉
Speaking of honest……stay tuned for a recap on my thoughts about that whole secrets post that blew up this blog a week or so ago. I have much to say 😉
Founder and creator of LIY, Erin turned her dream of a hobby blog into a full-time career which she now runs alongside the LIY team! When not in front of her computer screen [with a La Croix or wine in hand] or in front of a mirror taking mirror selfies, you can find Erin spending time on the water, cuddled up with her two pups and husband most likely watching the latest Shark Tank episode, or getting lost in an easy beach read.
