Let’s talk High School colors for a second.
We all had them. Some better than others, and some outright ugly.
Mine happened to be Green & Gold.
And at every sporting event, the cheerleaders would do a chant that went a little somethin’ like this:
“WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR BABY?!”
{And then the crowd would all shout with pride “GREEN & GOLD!!”}
Except throughout my Elementary, Middle School, and High School years I thought they were chanting
“WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF GRAVY?!”
And I could never quite figure out what Green & Gold gravy tasted like.
So, it comes as no surprise that when I adorned myself with green and gold the other day,
My brain kept chanting “What’s your favorite kind of gravy?”
…which then made me crave mashed potatoes somethin’ fierce,
but that’s beside the point.
but that’s beside the point.
