
If you have a sweet tooth, but want to use up some old bananas or just have a “healthier” option for a chocolate cake I highly recommend whipping up this easy and super yummy triple chocolate banana bread! Enjoy for breakfast, dessert, or just a little snack – CHEERS!
Chocolate Banana Bread “Cake”
A healthier option for a yummy chocolate cake!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups oat flour I blended oats in the blender to make mine!
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas ripe
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup plant milk I used almond
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 chopped dark chocolate bar or chocolate chips
Chocolate Frosting [optional]
- 1 cup nut butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- maple syrup desired sweetness
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350

Mix dry ingredients together

Add in wet ingredients and stir in chocolate

Pour into loaf pan and bake 20-25 minutes

Let cool and top with optional frosting
