Make no mistake by the looks of this photo [hello, AMI 🌴]…back here in Indiana the leaves have fallen, the Halloween candy is being eaten, and we may or may not be dreaming of turkey and dressing…Yes, my friends, November is officially here. Which means it’s time for another round of what we’re loving on Amazon this month. You’d think we run out of new items to find, but in reality, Amazon keeps blowing us away and we don’t have enough room to share all the goodies we’re finding and we are sharing our picks for the month! And if you love Amazon as much as we do, you’ll want to make sure you’ve joined us over in our closed Facebook Group, LIY Amazon Finds and Fails!
Erin’s Lounge Set [5’4, typically size small or 4]
Lounge Set [true to size, wearing in small in grey blue]
And, sold. This under $50 Amazon lounge set is a winner! I love the super cozy ribbed knit fabric and the fact that it’s two pieces meaning I can wear this sweater out and about on or pair these pants with a white tee and jacket for travel!
Erin’s Batwing Sweater
And just like that, I found my Thanksgiving outfit. Between these HeyNuts leggings [as soft as the butter that I’ll be loading onto my roll around the Thanksgiving table] and this easy sweater that allows for some extra room for all of those mashed potatoes, I am set. Cute + Comfy + Hider of copious amounts of food = WIN!
Erin’s HeyNuts Leggings
After hearing all about these from other LIY Team members [and how they kept comparing them to the Lululemon Align leggings] I knew I wanted to give them a try. It’s now all I want to wear. I lean towards the 7/8 length due to my 5’4 height, but regardless of which length, I promise you they are smooth like butter and incredibly soft!
Katy’s Hoodie [5’4″, typically size XS/S or 2]
Move over Lululemon…This sweatshirt is also almost identical to the Lulu Scuba Hoodie, but is 1/3 of the price
Katy’s Button Down Top
Katy’s Event Dress
Dress [size down if in between]
Jen’s Corduroy Shacket [5’7″, typically size M or 6]
I love this corduroy shacket for the price and quality! It’s the perfect weight, not too heavy – which allows it to act as a great transitional piece! I will be going back for more colors no doubt!
Lauren’s Tunic Sweatshirt
Tunic Sweatshirt [fits oversized, wearing in medium in brown]
Hands down, this tunic sweatshirt is one of my favorite Amazon fashion purchases! Good quality, priced right, and legging friendly! The trifecta!
Sweater [true to size, wearing medium in A Pure Apricot]
Perfectly oversized and perfectly balanced with colorblocking! I’m calling this Amazon sweater a win!
Macy’s Toddler Nike’s
Allison’s Blazer [6′, typically size M or 10]
Ashley’s Leggings [5’8″, typically size M or 4]
Skye’s Short Sleeve Sweater [5’4″, typically size L or 12]
Debbie’s Sweater Tank [5’5″, typically size small or 4]
Jen’s Coop Home Goods – Coolside Pillowcase
Coop Home Goods – Coolside Pillowcase
Guess who got herself a coop pillow on Prime Day? This girl! So hear me out, I’ve been hearing great things about this coolside pillowcase and that it helps reduce sweat & heat buildup. There is one thing I don’t like when I’m sleeping… overheating! So I snagged this baby and by my 3 weeks of sleeps, I’m a fan and have not once woken up sweating! So this is a winner in my book!
Jen’s Silk Pillowcase
What was I waiting for? I honestly can’t believe I just joined the silk pillowcase game! Game Changer! Did you know Dermatologists recommend real silk pillowcases for hair and face health? I heard a lot of talk, but never knew how serious this was. Not only am I sleeping like a champ, knowing that my hair and face are being better taken care of while catching zzzzz’s is great!
Steph’s Natural Laundry Detergent
Claire’s Kitchen Backsplash
Lauren’s Jute Runner Rug
This jute runner rug was the perfect addition to our basement hallway to soften things up! I love the added tassels on the end!
Lauren’s Candle Holder
This candle holder was a Prime Day purchase that I couldn’t make fast enough! I love the modern design of it for adding to any space!
Lauren’s Pillow Covers
Pillow Covers [20×20, Brown]
A quick swap of the cover and the whole couch gets a whole new look!
Macy’s Bissell Vacuum
This thing gets me excited to vacuum. It sucks up dirt and dog hair like no other!
Macy’s Light Fixture
Katy’s Bean Essence Serum
Hannah’s Dry Shampoo + Smoothing Spray
This duo is absolutely incredible! My hair hasn’t felt so soft and stays frizz free which is a huge deal, with this Smoothing Spray! And the Dry Shampoo is amazing!! It actually works and I’m obsessed!
Allison’s Cuticle Oil
My hand and nails get so dry during the winter months! My nail tech turned me onto this cuticle oil, and I can’t wait to try it this winter. It’s not super greasy, but gives a lot of moisture to the cuticles! I’m sure I’ll be using it on repeat all Winter!
Steph’s Tula Dark Circle Stick
I cannot make up my mind about this Tula Dark Circle Stick! I saw it everywhere on Instagram so I REALLY wanted to try it. Here’s my dilemma – I don’t notice a drastic difference in how my under eyes look when I use it, but GOSH it feels lovely and I just keep applying it…. multiple times a day… because it is so refreshing! The jury is still out on if I’ll reorder, but I’ll likely need to decide sooner than expected based on how often I’m applying.
Jen’s Lash Serum
Finally took the jump and dipped my lashes in! I’m hoping this helps them grow, grow, grow! I know many on the team have used this and say it’s the best ever! Time will tell…. stay tuned! Oh and it’s such an easy swipe, swipe before bed … if this stuff works I’ll be sticking to it!
Recently we asked the LIY community on Instagram if they use a Loofah, Bar of Soap or Other in the shower. And most of you use a Silicone Shower Brush! So I decided to put up my bar of soap, and jump on board with the rest of you! I’m here to report… I’m a fan! + knowing how easy to clean it is, and that it’s cleaner than a loofah, is magic to my ears[and body!]
Claire’s Tend Skin Rollerball
Be gone razor burn and ingrown hairs
Erin’s Mingle Mocktails
Ever since giving up alcohol in the past month and a half, I have been on a journey of finding NA options that excite me and can allow me to feel like I’m partaking in a little special fun from time to time. I love these Mingle Mocktails [especially when poured into a fancy cup]! They are 60 calories and do have added sugar, so I do limit myself to just one when I am having one, but it’s perfect when having happy hour with friends or on the beach for a little picnic!
Erin’s Non-Alcoholic Hop Wtrs
Oh, Hop Wtrs how I love you. Not only are these non-alcholic, but they are zero calories and zero sugar too. They taste crisp, light, and refreshing and have the added benefit of calming adaptogens like Ashwaganda to help make you feel zen and relaxed. I’m a big fan of these!
Erin’s New Beach Read
It’s funny, it’s a romance, it’s everything I like for when I’m laying beachside and don’t want to have a worry in the world! If you’re looking for a fun and easy read, make it this one!
Hannah’s TableTopics Questions
If you struggle getting your kiddos to talk at the dinner table or general or keep asking the same questions, these prompts have been so great for our family! We’ve had some really awesome conversations from it and my kiddos have loved it!
Hannah’s Lavender Shower Steamers
If you love the smell of Lavender and enjoy steamy showers, these shower steamers take those showers up to another level [haha]. They smell incredible, actually last more than one shower use and they are individually packaged making them easy to gift! Throw them in as stocking stuffers, gift baskets or a favorite things party, they are incredible!!
Lauren’s Drink Organizer
Never struggle with pulling drinks from the back to the front of the fridge again with this drink organizer! A spring loaded contraption slides your drinks to the front each time one comes out! One of those things that you don’t “need,” but once you have it you won’t regret it!
Lauren’s Kids Search + Find Book
Anything I can do to keep the kids entertained as the temps get colder, I’m down for! Road trips, plane time, restaurants, and at home – this search and find book has been keeping my 3 and 5 year old entertained!
Allison here! I could not put this book down! It sucked me in from the first page! There are so many twists and turns even right up to the last page! A super fast read, and great plot which really makes you think if you truly know everyone around you! Great read, especially for spooky October!
Steph’s Leadership Books
I go to a one day conference and immediately come home and order four books. As my husband said when they all arrived…. that’s a lot of reading! I really liked what the speakers had to say during their brief presentations, so I decided I needed to hear more from them on how to lead well. Highly recommend anything by these authors if you’re looking to dive more into leadership and self development in the workplace!
Jen’s Stasher Bags
Let’s chat – I’ve had these in my Amazon cart for 5 months. When I saw these included in the Prime Day this month, I finally hit checkout! Why did I wait so long? These stasher bags are brilliant! We do smoothies around here daily and those bananas ripen up quick! I can now cut them up, stash them in their bag, seal them – place them into the freezer and then when it’s smoothie time, take a few out at a time! Stasher Bags Saves Bananas 🙂 But honestly these are wonderful for anything, trail-mix on hikes, lunchmeat, sandwich fixings… the list is endless for the use of these bags!
Claire’s Hand Sanitizer
Sick season is here, and these are my go-to hand sanitizers! I LOVE how slim they are for small purses and love the scents! This 3-pack also comes with an unscented version too! One for my purse, one for my car, and one for a stocking stuffer later this year!
