Five Shoes You Need in Your Closet this Season

Disclosure: Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post.

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but I’d like to think I have a pretty strong bond with shoes. They’re such an easy way to elevate an outfit and add a sprinkle of your personal style to your look. Not to mention you never have to worry about going up a few sizes around the holidays, am I right?  😉 From basic booties to the trends I’m totally taking part in, today I’m sharing Five Shoes You Need in Your Closet this Season — according to yours truly. All with a little help from Nordstrom, that is!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Nordstrom is near and dear to my heart. Nordstrom is a one stop shop for getting dressed from head to toe. With free shipping and free returns, options to buy online and pickup in-store, and customer service that is unmatched – shopping online is easier than ever! It’s no secret that I’m a frequent Nordstrom shopper, so being a part of the Nordy Club gives me plenty of chances to earn Notes for future shopping trips, free alterations, early access to shopping events, and so much more! Now, without further ado, slip your feet into the Five Shoes You Need in Your Closet this Season….

The Combat Boot

Combat Boot [true to size]

They’re baaackkk! Introducing the coolest combat boots you’ll find this season [or at least according to yours truly ;)]. These recently arrived and I couldn’t love the look more! If you’ve been on the fence, you may want to give this pair a try! I’m loving the gold hardware, fun strap detail, and the way these instantly make me feel cooler than I actually am…

The White Sneaker

Court Vintage Premium Sneaker [true to size]

White sneakers are my jam right now [and have been for a hot minute]. They’re certainly “trendy” at the moment, but match E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G and are perfect for running errands or anyone on the go! I recently picked up this pair from Nordstrom and I’m still swooning. First off, the color combo is so fun [hints of white, mint, and lavender] but second, the comfort level is off the charts. If you’re looking to add a fresh pair to your closet, look no further!

The Black Bootie

Cap Toe Bootie [true to size]

Booties, booties, booties, rockin’ everywhere! Here’s the deal – every few years, a girl needs to refresh her closet staples. For me, this was the year of basic booties. If you’re in the market for a pair of classic black booties, I can’t recommend these enough. They’re cute, comfortable, and will be getting a ton of love this Fall/Winter season!

The Western Boot

Knee High Boot [true to size]

Like it or not, Western style footwear is in this season and I’m here for it! I’ll be completely honest – I was on the fence when I first bought these. Fast forward to a couple of at-home try-on sesh’s and every time I style them with a different outfit, I fall in love all over again. These boots were made for walkin’… directly into your closet. Let’s go girls. *insert hat tip*

The Mule

Chain Pointed Toe Mule [true to size]

Last, but not least, is the mule. I’ve owned several similar styles to this pair over the years and have fallen in love! Mules are such an easy shoe to literally slip-on and go. This color matches just about any outfit I throw on and is a great transitional piece for summer to fall. Bonus: the gold chain is such a fun and chic detail!

As much as I love shorts season [aka summer] I sometimes despise the actual “denim shorts season” itself. Shorts can be tricky. Sometimes they are too tight, too short, too loose and the list of all of the discomforts of shorts goes on. Today, we’re here to put some of those discomforts to rest and […]

If there’s one trend I’m happily hopping on board with, it’s the white sneaker rage. Maybe they never went out of style, maybe it’s more socially acceptable than ever to wear tennies with every. single. outfit. Either way, I’m here for it.
