Lauren here, excited to share with you our camping [or glamping] favorites for our home on wheels! This past year, my husband and I decided it was time to hit the open road, and swap out beach vacays for weekends around the campfire! That’s right, we got ourselves an RV, Clark [I have a serious new appreciation for the famous line “shi*ter’s full ;)].
After we bought our RV [a Forest River Impression 290 VB!], we quickly realized how many things we needed to A] actually be able to plug it in, dump it, etc. at a campsite, but B] make it feel like home! We wanted to stock it as well as we could so that we weren’t always stealing stuff from the house and bringing it back.
If you’re thinking of getting an RV – DO IT! Don’t wait! We have several trips on the books for the rest of the year, and are already planning ahead for next year. The memories we’re making with our little family will last a lifetime, and there’s nothing like the great outdoors! We know as our kids get older it will become more and more challenging with schedules, so we’re taking full advantage of this time now, and eating as many s’mores as possible!
Take a peek at what we’re using over and over with our RV, and the camping must-haves that are making life on the road a little more comfortable.
