The LIY Team found ourselves “oohing and ahhing” all throughout the Beauty Counters at Nordstrom this year, so today, we’re sharing those items with Y-O-U. Without further ado, here are our Favorite Beauty Finds from the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

ANNIVERSARY SALE SHOPPING TIPS & TRICKS

1. Anything that you love and want for yourself, add to your wish list and check out once the sale is live for your card level [reminder: it starts today [7/16] for Influencer cardholders and will be open to everybody on July 28th! If it isn’t currently available, things are always coming in and out of stock, so check back often!
2. Remember that Nordstrom always offers free shipping and free returns! Because of this, I would recommend ordering any of the things you are unsure of, to make sure that you can get it at the sale price and return it if it doesn’t work!
3. Some of the items I mention may currently be out of stock, but check back often for restocks! We’ll also be notifying you of restocks over on our Facebook page and #NSALE group [highly recommend joining the group for a ton of helpful info and nightly giveaways!]

Erin’s Olaplex Hair Care Set

I started using Olaplex a year or two ago after my hairstylist recommended it to me and I haven’t stopped using it since. I am a huge fan of the shampoo, conditioner, and the No. 3 hair perfector mask. These products are great for strengthening your hair and correcting damage. I love that this trio comes with a large #3 as it typically comes in a tiny bottle [I promise this hair mask does wonders on your hair if you use 1 – 2x per week]!

Erin’s Rum Body Wash

After staying in a hotel recently in LA that used this body wash, I knew I wanted to buy it for my home. When I spotted it in this year’s sale, I was so excited. This stuff smells amazing and feels like a luxury treat every time I step foot into my shower now!

Erin’s HUM Hair Sweet Hair Gummies

If you follow along on Instagram stories, you’ve probably heard me talk about my hair loss journey as of recently. Ever since having a stressful Q1 and then getting sick with COVID, my hair has been falling out like crazy. I’ve recently started looking for products that help create healthier hair in hopes of keeping every strand in that I can 😉 I started taking two of these a day and am excited to see if they make a difference!

Erin’s Slip Silk Hair Ties

I bought this brand of silk hair ties a year or two ago and have been using them ever since. Because they are silk they are a lot gentler on your hair creating less breakage and hair-pulling. It doesn’t hurt they are pretty cute too.

Erin’s Oribe Dry Texture Spray + Dry Shampoo Duo

I never thought I’d be willing to spend much on dry shampoo, but when we put this Oribe product to the test in a dry shampoo comparison a year or two ago and I fell in love, I knew it was worth it. It smells amazing, absorbs great, and is a huge bottle so it lasts forever. This duo comes with both dry shampoo and texturizing spray which I always apply after curling to add volume and grit!

Erin’s Slip Silk Pillowcase

I’m not the only one who loves my silk pillowcase 😉 I’ve been using a silk pillowcase for a year now and can’t imagine going back to a traditional pillowcase now. Not only is it silky smooth, but it’s great for your skin as well. The most noticeable difference is in breakouts [or lack thereof] and it has a lot of benefits for your hair to cause damage while sleeping.

Erin’s Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Perfume

I’m a sucker for a good perfume and this Jo Malone wood sage & sea salt is just the ticket! It’s a light scent that’s a little woodsy but not overpowering. I am not a floral scent girl so this one is perfect!

Erin’s Donna Karen Deodorant

I know, I know, it’s expensive deodorant but one whiff of this stuff and you’ll understand why. I never knew my armpits could smell so good. Would I buy this and pay full price, probably not. But will I buy it when it’s on sale and tell everybody who comes near me to smell my armpits? You betcha.

Last but not least, this Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. While I’ll be the first to admit that I fail in using this most days, the days that I do I’ve never loved my makeup more! If you are looking for an easy way to keep your makeup on all day long, this is the answer!

I wish you could smell this through the screen!! The hotel we stayed at in LA recently had this and I was trying to figure out how to bring it home with me. So when I saw it in the sale I snagged some! It’s such a great scent and not too overwhelming!

I’ve been wearing this scent for several years, so anytime I can get it on sale, I stock up!! Such a great scent that so many of you also love!

I’ve been hearing so many amazing reviews about T3 styling tools for years [Erin raves about her curling iron!], but I just really wasn’t able to justify the price point. Until I recently got a chance to test out my BFF’s T3, that is. Fast forward to NSale 2021 – the BEST time to snag higher ticket items at great prices, so I decided it was time to make that beauty mine [in the prettiest blush color]! The 1.25” barrel creates looser curls that last for literal days. It has five heat settings and automatically shuts off after one hour. Win! 

Claire’s PMD

Introducing another higher-ticket item that I’ve been waiting to snag on sale! I am SO excited about this one. If you’ve never heard of a Personal Microderm Device, you should know that this little tool “provides chemical-free exfoliation that’s 800% deeper than a scrub, taking away hyperpigmentation, scars and reducing acne. Because of the vacuum technology, the body heals beneath the surface, promoting cell turnover while reducing fine lines and wrinkles”. In other words, it has vacuum suction to exfoliate by removing dead/dull skin to reveal softer, smoother skin. It increases hydration, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, evens skin tone and texture, diminishes the appearance of spots, AND reduces the appearance of pore size. Check, check, check!

Luxie Rose Gold Flawless Blending Brush SetThese brushes are a great price for the value! This sale marked them down a goooood amount, so I would snag them now! I usually use a sponge for blending my foundation but the foundation brush with this set also does a great job and all of the other brushes help blend great as well! I love that they are all labeled to help a girl out with what to use when 😂

Katy’s Body Wash & The Body Lotion Set

Okay, I’m on the fence with this one. The body wash smells super calming which I love, but the lotion has no fragrance. If that’s your jam then it’s a winner!! It does feel really good on the body. Just trying to decide if it’s worth the price point!

Olaplex Bond Maintenance Hair Care Set

I’ve been using Olaplex for a few years, so stocking up when I saw it at this great price was the easiest NSale decision I made! For my hair, Olaplex has been a complete game changer! I can absolutely tell a difference, but the kicker is that my stylist has commented multiple times on how much healthier my hair is now. I use the No. 4 Shampoo and No. 5 Conditioner every time I wash my hair (typically 2-3 times per week). No. 3 Hair Perfector gets used as often as my schedule allows. I am for once a week, but reality is more like 1-2 times per month. It’s not that it takes a long time, it’s that I’m not great at remembering and my hair feels so healthy so it’s not completely top of mind. It’s really easy to use! Just apply to damp hair and leave on for 10 minutes. OR what actually happens for me more often is that I’ll apply it and sleep in it so that I don’t have to stand in the shower for 10 more minutes than my normal shower takes. Seriously worth the price – it lasts so long!
