It’s no secret the color yellow is near and dear to my heart. If you’ve been following along for awhile now, you’ve probably heard the story about how the blog got its name a few [okay, maybe more than a few] times. But if you’re new around here– welcome! Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we? Fun Fact: LIY started out as a gratitude journal. After documenting my daily joys for 365 days straight, I decided I wanted to continue the practice- virtually. Insert Living in Yellow. So why yellow you ask? Because to me, yellow = happy. When I wear it, I instantly feel my mood turn around. I feel more energized, full of life and have an easier time seeing the glass half full, especially when said glass has something delicious waiting for me inside.

So fast forward 10 years [How in the world has it been TEN years already?!], and I’m still living in yellow literally and figuratively. With that said, whenever I spot yellow goodies living on a website, a small part of me “needs” to have them. And that’s where Nordstrom comes in. Another fact that should come as no surprise to you? My love for Nordstrom. Nordstrom is my one stop shop when it comes to getting dressed– in practically every color under the sun. But in today’s case, we’re talking all-things yellow. With free shipping and free returns, options to buy online and pickup in-store, shopping online has never been so joyful. You better believe I’m a frequent Nordstrom shopper, so being a part of the Nordy Club gives me plenty of chances to earn Notes for future shopping trips, free alterations, early access to shopping events, and so much more!
