What is Cinco De Mayo without the best homemade salsa recipe?! In honor of the upcoming festivities we thought it would be fun to bring you my [hi, Erin here!] favorite recipe that will leave you with only one thing left to do — crack open a Corona or mix up your favorite margarita to pair with it!
When it comes to this particular recipe, I couldn’t believe the following:
a) just how simple this salsa is to make
b) just how much it makes
c) how delicious it really is
d) how long it lasts in the fridge
All you’ll need are the following ingredients and your best food processor [if you don’t own one, you can use this opportunity to snag one here!] Because you use the food processor, it means you have to do barely any chopping but rather just get the satisfaction of watching your processor do its thing. A few more things before I bust out the recipe – we love these chips to pair with the salsa but any good ole tortilla chip will do! Additionally, these Pyrex bowls with lids make for the perfect refrigerator storage option for all of your leftovers [should you have any and don’t devour it upon completion!] Now that we’ve got the logistics out of the way, let’s get this salsa making party started!
