I know that it may come as a surprise when I say that I enjoy a good cocktail every once in awhile, but shockingly enough it’s true. I know it’s not like me to let loose, but every now and again I like to sit back with a good drink and a good ole fashioned couch laying session. And by every once in awhile I mean most days.

As I am gearing up for the Holidays and all of the wonderful family and friend gatherings that will take place between now and New Years Day I wanted to make sure I was properly equipped for the madness. The first thing I think about when it comes to festivities is naturally the food and drinks. Without those two things, it’s really no party at all. Thankfully I found exactly what I needed….

That’s right. All of the pop in the world. I got my A&W®, 7UP®, Canada Dry®, Sunkist®, Sun Drop®, RC Cola®, Squirt® at my local Walmart for only $1.00! Right now when you purchase (10) 2-Liters or (5) 0.5L 6 packs of the DPSG core beverages (A&W®, 7UP®, Canada Dry®, Sunkist®, Sun Drop®, RC Cola®, Squirt®) during the month of December at Walmart you will receive a $5 VUDU credit!

Because it was too good of a deal to pass up [you realize that is actually only paying $5 for (10) 2-liters right?] I stocked up. My husband may have thought I was a little crazy when I carried in all of the groceries but when I informed him that this pop would eventually be turned into some festive cocktails he quickly quieted down.

I decided to put the 7UP® to good use by creating a cocktail I saw on my best friend Pinterest, called Santa’s Little Helper. Being a recent bourbon connoisseur I decided to give it a try and fortunately it didn’t disappoint! Here’s how to make it..

Santa’s Little Helper
Ingredients:
7UP®
Bourbon
Triple Sec
Cinnamon Sticks
Whole Cranberries
How To Make It:
1. Soak a handful or two of cranberries along with a couple of cinnamon sticks in bourbon and let it sit overnight.
2. The next day when preparing the cocktails, fill a glass of ice and mix in three parts of the infused bourbon, one part triple sec and top off with 7UP®.
3. Garnish the drink with a few of the boozy berries that were soaking in the bourbon along with a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!

And there you have it! A fun little cocktail to serve at all of your gatherings between now and the end of the year [so like, one day]!

Don’t forget to stock up on your favorite DPSG Core drinks at Walmart now to save
