Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and spray your muffin tin with oil.
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and whisk.
Combine wet ingredients and stir until it is mixed well and evenly.
Fold in fresh strawberries and chopped almonds.
Transfer batter into muffin tin.
Optional: Sprinkle brown sugar and any remaining almonds on top of muffin batter.
Bake for 20 minutes and cool for 5 minutes.
