Preheat oven to 425°. Cook macaroni and drain.
About 10 minutes before macaroni is done, in a separate sauce pan, add butter and melt.
Blend in flour
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly
Cook until thick and smooth then simmer for 5 minutes.
Add salt and cheese and cook until cheese melts.
Combine 2/3 of the cheese to the mac in a 9 x 13 in dish and pour rest over the top!
Cook for 20 minutes! Top with green onion or parsley for garnish. Enjoy!
