When it comes to getting through life, most of us would say we can’t do it without one person – our mom. She’s the one who is always in our back corner cheering us on, there to talk you through the ups and downs of life and at the very least teach us which boys are worth our attention and which aren’t. My mom has been me and my sister’s biggest fan for the past 30+ years and so with Mother’s Day right around the corner, we wanted to do something to tell her just how special she is. It’s not every day somebody calls you up out of the blue and says “Hey, I’m coming over tomorrow to plant new flowers in your windowbox” just because. My landscaping would literally be that of zero if it weren’t for that woman. Needless to say, a time for us girls to just get together, enjoy a little food and drink and shower my mom with a few special Mother’s Day gifts was in store. To celebrate, we went to a favorite local restaurant for some quality time together and a chance to say “hey mom – you’re pretty great, thanks for all you do…”
