It’s Back! // Stitch Fix Reveal #64

December 4, 2017

Wow, it has been a hot second [or year] since I have done a Stitch Fix review. I used to be so diligent about sharing my box every month and then life got busy and well, I suck. Even though I haven’t been sharing my boxes here on the blog, I have still been receiving them and based on the fact that it appears the last review I did was of fix number 54 well, it’s been a solid 10 fixes since I’ve shared my goods. I always have a way of Stitch Fix posts sounding dirty, my bad. Anyhow! A lot of you have been requesting that I bring them back so finally, it’s back baby! If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix and how it works, here are a few words about how the process works!

1. You start by filling out your style profile – you will complete all sorts of questions on sizing, pricing, preferences, colors, etc. You can also write notes about likes/dislikes. Make sure to link your fashion board on Pinterest so your stylist can see what you like!
2. Order your first fix! Your card will be charged a $20 styling fee, however, if you keep any item [one or more] you will be credited back the $20. Because of this I always recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially giving away $20 for nothing in return. You will receive 5 items [made up of clothing, jewelry, and handbags, whatever you prefer]. I personally only want clothing in my fix so I just always let my stylist know!
3. Decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back [in a postage paid envelope]! You have 3 business days to do so – use this time to try everything on, see what you have in your closet that pairs well with it and don’t be afraid to say yes to something that you wouldn’t normally. That’s what makes Stitch Fix so fun! If you keep all 5 items you will receive 25% off your entire fix, winning!
It should be noted that while I have chosen to receive monthly fixes, this is in no way a subscription service and you are able to decide when you want another fix, whether that be in 6 months or 2 years from your first fix! As always, if you ever have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments section below. Okay, here we go!

Pixley Sisaly Cold-Shoulder Pullover – Small – $68 – ReturnedI loved the chunky knit on this, however, the neckline was kinda doing weird things to me. I almost feel like it looks like somebody got a little scissor happy all over me. I wasn’t sure if I could pull off a regular bra and my thoughts on wearing a strapless bra in the middle of winter are similar to my thoughts on drinking milk. I’m not going to do it. Sorry Charlie, this one went back!

41 Hawthorn Aisla Split Neck Tie Sleeve Pullover – Small – $64 – Kept Okay, this guy I could get down with. It was equally as warm and chunky as the first sweater, but with a little less dramatic flair to it. I think the little tie sleeves give it an “oh, that’s adorable!’ touch and I like the little v at the neckline. Because I believe it’s a little bit of a waste to return everything, this was my keeper!

ModRef Kerston Twisted Knot Cupro Knit Top – Small – $38 – Returned Looking back, I kinda wish that this would have been my keeper. I wish you could all reach through your screen and feel how soft it was. It was so lightweight yet not sheer [look! no bra lines!] and is a perfect layering piece which you’ll see below on the cardigan!

Honey Punch Rivington Textured Open Cardigan – Small – $64 – Returned Gosh this thing was cozy. But dang, I need another cardigan like I need another cup of coffee. I don’t. I think it was also slightly large if you can tell from the photo. Unfortunately it went back, but the color is great, it is so comfy and if you get a chance to request this in your next fix, you may just want to!

5. Spanx Kemella Faux Leather Legging – Small – $98 – Returned heels [true to size] // handbag

The only reason I returned these was that I already own them [you can snag em’ for 25% off right now here]! I love these leggings an incredible amount as you can wear them so many ways and they are truly the most comfortable, flattering leggings I’ve ever owned. Definitely a closet staple this winter season! If I didn’t own them, I would have totally kept them from this fix!

And that’s a Stitch Fix wrap! Hopefully, you enjoyed seeing this review and are looking forward to more in the future! I did change my delivery to every three months [turns out I have quite a few clothes and don’t need a new shipment every single month, who knew?!] so expect to see another in the next few months!
