We’ll start in the most logical place to start…the entry, let’s get this tour started!
First official stop, the main living room, also known as my favorite room in the winter. It’s in here that you will find our main tree, fireplace and our main seating area. Last year we bought this flocked pre-lit tree, which I still can’t figure out if I think it looks like hairy fingers or is actually pretty. We’ll go with pretty for the purposes of today’s tour. I kinda love the addition of red and gold ornaments with little touches of natural elements in all things elks and reindeer.
As always, I found myself buying all of the new pillows out this year [what is it with women and pillows?!] which makes our couch equally inviting and equally annoying to actually sit down on. It’s a big tease really.
I was probably MOST excited this year about the addition of the light up stocking holders [linked below] that are all sorts of crazy adorable as I am a big believer that if you put a light on anything it’s instantly awesome.
Now that we’ve made our way through the main living room, we’ll wander over to the “outdoor room” as I call it [aka second smaller living room] for a few small touches of Christmas decor!
Off to the land of where allllllll of the goodness goes down, the kitchen and dining room of course. I love that we have a spot in our dining area to house another smaller tree. It is on this tree that we put all of the Old World Ornaments that we have been given over the years [perks of having an aunt who owns an ornament shop!] It is always my favorite putting the ornaments on this tree remembering why we got each ornament for each year as they are always themed to that year’s events. I am dying to get my hands on this one asap. I also especially love this space because when standing in the kitchen you have a view of both trees and it is the most little glorious sight to my eyes.
Now that we’ve checked out the dining room portion of the kitchen, let’s draw our attention towards the very important bar cart and my favorite area – the place where all of the cooking, dancing and eating really takes place – the heart of the kitchen!
Probably my favorite find from the Hearth & Hand line at Target has to be these galvanized house candle holders [linked below!] that we have both in our living room and on our kitchen center island as well. The LIY girls assembled this little centerpiece and I couldn’t love it more. These sugared birch candles are all sorts of winter perfection.
And that completes our 2017 Christmas home tour! I hope you enjoyed your visit but before you go, I have a little gift for my guests 😉 To celebrate the kickoff of Christmas decor season, we thought it would be fun to give away a little cozy comfort package for your home this winter! One of you will have the chance to win this complete package – all you have to do is enter here!
Thanks again for stopping by, come again soon!
