Fall has officially fell all over my house and I am not the least bit mad about it. I was just asking Shawn earlier this week what season he likes most in our home [you know, the normal questions you ask your husband] and we both agreed, it’s gotta be fall. I don’t know if it’s the colors or the coziness or what, but whatever it is, it’s good and I want more of it. The only problem is that every freaking season I feel the need to go out and buy alllllll of the things [I blame Target] that’s available for the year. If stores would just stop with their cuteness once in a while my life would be a lost easier and less expensive. But alas, I found myself in those incredibly tempting Target aisles recently snatching up everything in sight. Now that it’s all appropriately arranged in the house [anybody else leave things in bags just hanging out in the middle of the kitchen floor for a few days before deciding “oh yeah, I should probably do something with that”?] I thought it would be fun to do a little fall home tour of sorts. I’ve tried to put links to the things that are available online, however, some of it appears to only be available in store which I’ll note. Are you ready? Come on in….
As you make your way into our home, you will most likely notice the aroma of the apple pumpkin candle from Bath and Body Works that I recently picked up [one of six, I am obsessed – also they are currently 2 for $24 + 20% off w/code FALL4FALL] and be welcomed with none other than my personal favorite sign from the LIY collection and a flashy little welcome pumpkin. Everybody needs a welcome pumpkin in their life.
Because the kitchen should always be the first place you visit [hello, there are BROWNIES] we will head there first. One thing to note, no, I absolutely did not make this centerpiece masterpiece – I bought it all put together at a local craft show recently. And it makes me look like I know what I am doing with life so I love it.
Next up, the outdoor room. As easy as pumpkins are to scatter, pillows are even easier. The bad news is your husband probably won’t respond the same to pillows as he does pumpkins. Why do males have to be such pillow haters?
Because I was feeling reaaallllllly crazy, I added a little touch of decor to our guest bathroom because guess what? Guests like decor too.
Last but not least, the living room. Pillows, pillows everywhere. All of the orange, all of the gold and all of the faux fur.
