What I Actually Bought From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

July 15, 2017

By:

Erin Schrader

Well, this sale just got dangerous. It turns out that when it comes to self-control, I don’t really have any. I knew this as a young child while watching myself consume an entire box of macaroni and cheese followed by an entire bag of microwave popcorn, right before eating dinner every single night. So yeah, when I found out that only 99 items could be added to your cart at a time I realized I should probably be done. Until today, when I ordered a few more things of course 😉 So yes – there is a ton listed below, but consider it blog research. Or an unhealthy obsession with stuff. Whatever you want to call it, here is what I actually purchased from the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. All of the colors, sizes and comments on each item listed below!

Two things to note before we jump in –

  1. If it is killing you that you can’t shop any of these items until the sale is open to the public [July 21st] have no fear, the Nordstrom credit card is here. That’s the magic ticket to shop the sale at the moment. Items are moving fast so put that FOMO to rest and jump on board!
  2. If you need an extra push to click “checkout” [ha, like we need that!] Nordstrom is offering 10x bonus points on all orders placed, today only [for those of you not reading this on Friday, July 14th, I’m sorry but that deal is over].
  3. Once all of these items arrive and my UPS driver wants to murder me, I will start sharing outfits over on my Facebook page and then here on the blog will have my “Hits, Misses and What The Heck Is This?!” where I show every single product on, talk about sizing and all of that other jazz next Friday, July 21st when everybody can shop!
  4. Maybe just pray for me that I don’t end up loving every single thing you see below in person as much as I do online. Or maybe just pray for my husband.

Let’s get this party started with the best for first…

Cardigans are my jam. Literally, it’s about the only thing I wear in the fall. They are so cute over tees or camis, layered with a scarf, thrown on with a pair of over the knee boots and make for great transitional pieces across all seasons. These are the five that I fell in love with and ordered:

  1. Leith Easy Circle Cardigan [ordered in charcoal heather and pink in size XS] This cardigan was the most popular item in last year’s sale and it’s back again! Definitely size down in this as it does run on the larger side!
  2. Bp. Lightweight Rib Stitch Cardigan [ordered in beige oatmeal heather in XS] You can’t beat this cardigan under $32! Again, I would size down in this as it does say that it runs on the larger side! Tons of colors available and lots of rave reviews from other bloggers!
  3. Halogen Long Open Front Cardigan [ordered in both black and green gables in XS] My favorite cardigan that I own. I have this baby in several different colors already, so when I saw it was in the sale with new colors for fall I knew I needed more! Lightweight, comfortable, great length, washes really well [I air dry] and perfect throughout seasons! Size down if in between on this one!
  4. Hinge Ruched Bell Sleeve Cardigan [ordered in brown taupe in XS] I love me a good bell sleeve. Ordered this one true to size and can’t wait to have this great earth tone in my closet rotation this fall.
  5. Ugg Hayley Long Cardigan [ordered in navy heather in XS/SM] I bought this last year in ivory when it was in the sale and it was a winter favorite. This one is heavier than all of the others listed so if you live somewhere cold in the winter, this is the one for you. The buttons and herringbone pattern make this is a standout piece. Order true to size!

Next up, we’ll tackle shoes. I think we all like shoes here, right?

  1. Halogen Oliver Genuine Calf Hair Ankle Wrap Flat [ordered true to size] Last year Halogen had the greatest flats on earth in the sale and I purchased several so when I saw this year that they are offering very similar styles, I was thrilled! You will be amazed at how much you will wear this print. Way more versatile than I ever imagined, one of my most favorite pair of shoes to wear out and about!
  2. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Shoreline Peached Twill Sneaker [ordered in port, true to size] Shoreline Converse sneakers are my absolute favorite slip on tennis shoe to wear. I couldn’t not snag these in a delicious fall color. I wear them with these no show socks, which also happen to be in the sale!
  3. Nike Free Run Distance 2 Running Shoe [ordered in white, sized up .5] These are my favorite athletic tennis shoe on the planet. Beyond lightweight and comfortable, and also do a great job of not making your feet look big or clunky. I would size up .5 in these! Again, these no show socks are perfect with these!
  4. Ugg Vista Slip-On Flat [ordered in port suede, true to size] I am so excited to try these! I feel like they are bound to be all sorts of comfortable and for under $60, you can’t beat a great pair of slip-ons that can be dressed up or down. Lots of colors available!
  5. Ugg Wrin Rib-Knit & Genuine Shearling Slipper [ordered in cream suede, one size up] I do not need another pair of UGG slippers, however, I wanted to see what this year’s slipper was all about. I will report back in due time, however, if you order first – make sure to size up as their slippers tend to run on the smaller side!
  6. ED Ellen Degeneres Aviana Cap Toe Slip-On Sneaker [ordered in true merlot suede, true to size] And then it just dawned on me that I ordered three pairs of shoes in a wine color. No, I don’t have a drinking problem. I can’t wait to try these and see if they are comfortable or not. Several other great colors for fall available!
  7. Halogen Oliver Ankle Wrap Flat [ordered in blush leather, true to size] Again, my favorite flats from last years sale! Blush is also a great versatile color I have found, so I can’t wait to try these out and see what I think! You can’t beat a good ankle wrap.

Next up, let’s talk about premium denim for a second. Whenever you can get great jeans for 40% off, you do. End of story.

  1. Paige Hoxton High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size, 28-inch inseam] I tried my first pair of Paige jeans last year and fell in love instantly. Smoother than butter and so freaking comfortable. This year’s pair under $100 is high waisted which is all the better for my liking! If in between on sizes, I would go up rather than down.
  2. Ag The Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size, 28 1/2 inch inseam] AG jeans are legit. I have one pair that stays incredibly comfortable and don’t stretch out. I love the wash on these. On sizing, go up if in between.
  3. Rag & Bone High Waist Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size, 27-inch inseam] I have never owned anything Rag & Bone, but have heard a lot of great things. The hem on these is great for a more casual look and again, love that they are high waisted. Suck it in baby, suck it in.

Next on the list, basics, because let’s face it – it’s what we wear 99.9% of the time.

  1. Bp. Pocket Tee [ordered in ivory egret tawny stripe in XS] For less than $20, this piece was a no brainer. The layering possibilities that it offers is 100%. I would size down in this top as it does say it runs large. Available in several other colors as well! A great lightweight piece for fall!
  2. Lush Raw Edge Side Slit Tee [ordered in cordovan, heather gray and white in small] I need some tee’s to wear under all those cardis you heard? I can’t wait to try these out as I recently purchased similar Lush tees and they are the softest ever, plus have a great flow to them. I love me a good V-neck and have lots of hope for these $15 cuties. I would order true to size.
  3. Halogen V-Neck Tunic Tee [ordered in heather gray and white in XS] This is the same material and cut as my favorite white tee, this one just happens to be a little longer in tunic form which is better yet! I would size down if in between sizes, otherwise order true to size.

Athleisure sounds like a good next category to tackle [typed while eating a bag of Doritos] so let’s go that direction for a second..

This category could really just be called “Zella“. It turns out I have this deep love for all things Zella brand. Fortunately a ton of it is in this year’s anniversary sale. Here’s what I picked up!

  1. Zella Glam High Waist Cropped Leggings [ordered in black in XS] Give me a pair of Zella high waist leggings and I am set for life. I love this pair which has some edgy mesh detail throughout. Cropped leggings are perfect for summer and sitting next to fires during the winter. Or working out if you’re in that sorta thing, but I prefer the fires.
  2. Zella Layer Me Pullover [ordered in grey urban stripe in small] This just screams comfortable. I love Zella tops as they are so soft and wonderful. I typically size up in Zella tops as I have found them to run a little on the small side.
  3. Zella Outta Town Hoodie [ordered in blue depths heather in small] I have a different Zella sweatshirt and it is one of my all-time favs. These are awesome for traveling and this particular sweatshirt comes in so many awesome colors for fall. I’ll take two more please. Order true to size or up if in between.
  4. Zella Don’t Sweat It Sweater [ordered in grey urban heather in small] I am probably most excited about this one! Probably because it’s grey and who doesn’t love grey, but because it looks all sorts of lightweight and comfy.
  6. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings [ordered in black in XS] These are my favorite leggings on the planet. I need no more, just these. They keep everything in, stay in place/don’t fall down, and stay in really great condition for a long time. I find them to be true to size and can’t recommend them more. Order now while they are 40% off!

Now that we just worked out, let’s talk jackets and vests shall we? I know, there is no correlation between the two. Just go with it.

  1. Caslon Utility Vest [ordered in heather charcoal in XS regular] This baby is probably my favorite item in the sale this year! Available in both regular and petite sizing, I can’t wait to style it for fall! I would order true to size.
  2. Blanknyc Life Changer Moto Jacket [ordered in black in small] It said life changing, I had to. I love a good black faux leather jacket for winter, I am just debating if this is too edgy for me or not. We shall see when it arrives!
  3. Love Token Faux Shearling Vest [ordered in ivory in XS] I was on the fence with this one but then went for it! It looks super cozy and like it could be a great layering piece this winter! I can’t wait to see it in person!
  4. Trouve Raw Edge Leather Jacket [ordered in black in XS] There is just something about a real leather jacket [for less than $200] that makes me feel like I need it. I love the cut of this and am excited to see if it is as great in real life as it appears to be online. Suggests ordering true to size.
  5. Olivia Moon Elbow Patch Knit Blazer [ordered in black in small] Who doesn’t love a good blazer? I am a huge fan of Olivia Moon’s knit blazers as they honestly feel like you are wearing a sweatshirt while looking professional. I was so excited to see two in this years sale! This one is fun because of the elbow batch details. I would size up if in between.
  6. Olivia Moon Tie Sleeve Knit Blazer [ordered in black in small] This blazer is perfection. The tie sleeves give it the perfect amount of flair while the knit material keeps it super soft and comfortable. Again, I would size up if in between.
  7. Madewell Catskills Jacket [ordered in military surplus in XS] I love me a good military style jacket for fall and this one is no exception. I can’t wait to see how the cut and fit is once it arrives! Available in a great gray color as well.
  8. Blanknyc Faux Leather Jacket [ordered in no blushing in small] This was my favorite jacket of the sale last year – I purchased it in both black and brown and wear them all of the time. They do run small so I would recommend sizing up one size for sure.

Now that we’ve got those out of the way, let’s talk budget friendly jeans for a second. I’m all about that under $50 category.

  1. Wit and Wisdom Twisted Seam Ankle Skimmer Jeans [ordered true to size] I love Wit and Wisdom. When I saw they had a great selection of under $45 jeans in the sale this year, I kinda freaked. These are ever so slightly distressed and have a great ankle zipper detail at the bottom. Size down if in between.
  2. Kut from the Kloth Donna Ponte Knit Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size] Nothing beats a good pair of ponte pants. For $45, I wanted to give these a try and recommend if you are a working woman that you do the same, because these would be awesome in the office!
  3. Articles Of Society Carly Release Hem Crop Skinny Jeans [sized down one] Articles of Society jeans are incredibly soft and come at a great price point. I would always size down one in these jeans, however, as they do have a lot of stretch. Love the raw hem on these!
  4. Sp Black Angled Step Hem Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size] I absolutely love the look of these white distressed jeans. I love even more the price. The hem at the bottom is so unique and I love the length of these bad boys. Excited to try them on and see what I think!
  5. Wit & Wisdom Ab-Solution Stretch Ankle Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size] We all need a good pair of gray jeans in our life from time to time and for under $50, these are a great pair to try. Especially these, because Ab-solution jeans are theeee best. What this means is that they have a built-in power mesh panel that holds it all in while remaining all sorts of comfortable. Yes please. Size down if in between.
  6. Wit and Wisdom Ab-Solution Stretch Ankle Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size] I love this black ankle pair and know I will get a ton of use out of them this fall. Same magical ab-solution waist band in these. Size down if in between.

Onward, tops.

  1. Pleione Double Ruffle Sleeve Blouse [ordered in black in XS] This top is so much fun. I love a good ruffle from time to time and the classic black is awesome for nights out on the town. It is suggested to size down if in between, also available in a few other great colors.
  2. Leith Satin Off The Shoulder Top [ordered in purple starling in small] I am a little on the fence with this top, but wanted to order it to give it a shot. I really love this purple color and think the satin could be a fun change in fabrics in my wardrobe. Excited to see if it’s a hit or miss!
  3. Bp. Plaid Cotton Blend Shirt [ordered in ivory egret schy plaid and red cordovan alice plaid in XS] These plaid shirts were in the anniversary sale last year and it was one of my favorite purchases. They are extremely soft and great to throw on for casual days or nights out. Also great under jackets or vests, unbuttoned with a tee underneath, or tied around your waist! Basically, the options are endless. Size down if in between.
  4. Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Woven Shirt [ordered in ivory and june bug in small] I love these tab sleeve tops as I wear this tunic one all of the time. I like that this isn’t quite as long and could be layered this fall. True to size.

  1. Halogen Scalloped Tank [ordered in red fiery in XS] The back is even cuter! It’s hard to find great tanks for summer and with this one, I think I may just have. Interested to see how this baby feels and fits. Suggests ordering true to size.
  2. Lush Side Slit Tank [ordered in moonstruck in small] Speaking of great tanks for summer, I love finding basic tanks that I can layer under cardigans or wear on extremely hot days. For under $19, this looks like a great option and if it’s anything like other Lush tops I’ve purchased recently, it will be extra soft as well. Suggests ordering true to size.
  3. Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Woven Shirt [ordered in ivory and june bug in small] I love these tab sleeve tops as I wear this tunic one all of the time. I like that this isn’t quite as long and could be layered this fall. True to size.
  5. Bp. Split Sleeve Tee [ordered in pink mauve in XS] I think this top is so fun. I love the split sleeves for extra drama for a night out. I envision this with black jeans and some cute booties. Order true to size.

Speaking of booties…

  1. 1.State Iddah Perforated Cutaway Bootie [ordered in blush nubuck leather, true to size] I love the little sweeping cutout on these and perforated pattern. Blush is a color of bootie that I don’t currently have so I am excited to experiment with it!
  2. Vince Camuto Prasata Bootie [ordered in new foxy, true to size] Favorite bootie of the sale, hands down. Just everything about them is perfection. Good ole Vince does it again.
  3. Lucky Brand Brielley Perforated Bootie [ordered in brindle suede, true to size] I have a few other pairs of Lucky booties and they are some of the best! Super comfortable and hold up extremely well. Brindle goes with everything, so brindle it is!
  4. Bp. Faren Bootie [ordered in black suede, true to size] These are a great price and I’m always wishing I had more black options. Excited to see what these are all about !
  5. Via Spiga Gaze Block Heel Sandal [ordered in black suede, true to size] A great bootie with a heel, perfect for dressier occasions or black jeans.
  6. Vince Camuto Karinta Block Heel Bootie [ordered in greystone, true to size] I’m telling you, I can’t refuse anything that Vince Camuto puts out. It’s this horrible [also read: wonderful] addiction of mine. The detail on these is so fun and if they are anything like the other Vince Camuto shoes I own, will be comfortable as well.

Next on the list of items ordered to talk about – sweaters. Being an Indiana girl, these are crucial during the fall/winter months.

  1. Halogen Cotton Blend Off The Shoulder Sweater [ordered in black and red fiery in XS] I love the look of this sweater a ton. For under $50 I feel like I will get a ton of use out of it this fall. The longer length is so appealing and all of the color options are great! I would order true to size.
  2. Caslon High/Low Tunic [ordered in burgundy in XS] It’s under $30 and it’s a tunic meaning I can most likely wear it with leggings [yaaaay!] True to size.
  3. Free People Split Back Turtleneck [ordered in red in XS] Apparently I’m digging turtlenecks. This looks like a super comfortable and flowy top so I thought I would try it out. I would suggest sizing down as it runs on the larger side!
  4. Halogen Scallop Edge Sweater [ordered in yellow in small] I love me a good scallop. And I love me a good yellow. This sweater would be great for the working woman!
  5. Gibson Bell Sleeve Cozy Fleece Pullover [ordered in grey in XS]: The coziest bell sleeve sweater on the planet. I absolutely love this brand and their products. I would size up if in between in this, lots of great colors available!

  1. Halogen Cashmere Off The Shoulder Sweater [ordered in burgundy stem in XS] Anytime you can get cashmere for under $100, you do it. Especially when it is a beautiful little off the shoulder number that you can wear with leggings or pants. Order true to size.
  2. Gibson Tie Front Cozy Fleece Pullover [ordered in grey in small] You put the words fleece on anything and I am sold. I am loving this little tie front for the fun factor that it provides. Size up if in between, lots of fall colors available!
  4. Bp. Boatneck Rib Knit Pullover [ordered in pink mauve in XS]  This looks like a great oversized sweater that I can’t wait to get my hands on. I ordered it mostly because I love the color so much and looks like a great top to watch football in this fall. Suggests ordering true to size.
  5. Trouve Bateau Neck Sweater [ordered in black in XS] I am big fan of boat neck tops because you get the look of off the shoulder without the hassle of wearing off the shoulder tops. Ordered true to size.
  6. Halogen Cashmere Dolman Sleeve Tunic Sweater [ordered in olive dark in XS] I could see myself wearing this sweater the most this fall. I love pairing tunics with tall boots and jeans or leggings. This one looks so comfortable and soft [it is cashmere after all]. Suggests ordering true to size.

Now that we’ve covered all of the tops in the world, here are a few more pairs of jeans at a great price point that I picked up.

  1. Mavi Jeans Adriana Skinny Ankle Jeans [ordered true to size] Mavi jeans are my husband’s favorite, so I thought I would give these a try. I love that they are a 27 1/2 inch-inseam [perfect for ankle booties] and the wash is great!
  2. Trouve Lace Up Denim Leggings [ordered true to size] It took me a second to determine if I liked these or not, but the more that I look at them the more that I love them. I think the lace up detail on the bottoms are a fun touch and I am excited to try them out with some heels or booties.
  3. Blanknyc Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size] I love Blanknyc brand, like a heck of a lot. So comfortable, so soft and hold up eextremelywell. This gray pair for less than $60 was calling my name so I answered the call. I would size down if in between on this brand.
  4. Lysse High Waist Faux Leather Leggings [ordered in small] These sexy little things get rave reviews so I had to try them. I love to have a pair of faux leather leggings on hand each winter and thought these are the ones. They have a great seam down the front and back and are high waisted which means I can eat alllll of the mac and cheese.
  5. Blanknyc Ripped Skinny Jeans [ordered true to size] Again, blanknyc is my jam and so is this pair of distressed skinny jeans. A great staple to have on hand this fall. Under $60 and should be great quality. Size down if in between.

Moving on, we have a few dresses and fancy pants things to discuss.

  1. Caslon Sweatshirt Dress [ordered in heather grey in XS] The best dress in the sale in my opinion! I love sweatshirt dresses for summer and fall days. Perfect with sandals or sneakers. Suggests ordering true to size.
  2. Leith Ballet Crop Wide Leg Ponte Jumpsuit [ordered in black in small] I can’t believe this is under $50! It is absolutely adorable online so I can’t wait to see it in person. Such a chic look at such an awesome price!
  3. Halogen Scalloped Shift Dress [ordered in green gables in XS] This dress is awesome for the working woman as it looks length appropriate and has sleeves! The scalloped touch is adorable. Ordered true to size.

Let’s tlak about sweatshirts next..that sounds fun! Sweatshirts always sound fun.

  1. Ugg Cozy Lounge Poncho [ordered in port heather in XS] UGG had a very similar poncho style in last year’s sale and it was one of the most worn items by me this past winter. It is fleece lined which makes it that much more amazing. It’s the perfect wine tasting and boots outfit. Then again everything is perfect when drinking wine in my opinion 😉 True to size.
  2. Gibson Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt [ordered in green gables in small] I love this under $45 sweatshirt. So many great colors available, it took me awhile to decide on one! Some people hate the cold shoulder trend while others dig it. I fall on the dig side. This will be a great transition to fall piece. Suggests ordering true to size.
  3. Pleione Tiered Bell Sleeve Sweatshirt [ordered in pink smoke in XS] I have a big crush on this beauty. It’s so feminine and flirty, now to test how clean I can keep those sleeves when eating 😉 It does recommend sizing down if in between, other colors available!
  4. Gibson Funnel Neck Poncho Style Sweatshirt [ordered in navy space dye in small] If you like the look of a little shorter poncho, this is your girl! Again, a great cozy fleece material. I would size up if in between in this one!
  5. Pleione Cold Shoulder Tie Sleeve Sweatshirt [ordered in heather grey in XS] I am anxious to see how these sleeves are in person. It has a great dramatic flair to it and looks super comfy at the same time. I would size down if in between.

Because no sale would be complete without purchasing a pair [or three] of boots, we will look at those next…

  1. Vince Camuto Karinda Over The Knee Boot [ordered in brown suede, true to size] Vince strikes again. I love the flatter heel on these over the knee boots [side note – I am obsessed with over the knee boots]. The detail keeps it all interesting, I can’t wait to try these once they arrive!
  2. Ugg Elvia Waterproof Tall Boot [ordered in chestnut leather, true to size] I am stupidly excited about these and I am not quite sure why since they have to do with snow. I just think they will be adorable styled with the right outfit and look incredibly warm and toasty. Okay winter, we’re ready.
  3. Charles By Charles David Perfect Over The Knee Boot [ordered in black suede, true to size] These have sex appeal written all over them. The taller the boot, the better 😉 I got these for dressier nights out and for under $100, you can’t beat it!

And now for my favorite category, cozy wear. Really if I could live solely in pajamas I would be one happy person.

  1. Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Robe [ordered in light gray/white in 1] I have wanted a Barefoot Dreams robe for a year now, so I figured it was time to make the cuddliest investment of my life. If you haven’t owned anything Barefoot Dreams before, now is your time. The brand and products are hands down the softest things you will ever put on your body. I may never put clothes on again after wearing this.
  2. Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Circle Cardigan [ordered in cocoa/pearl heather in XS/SM] Favorite cardigan ever. I own it now in black and can’t wait to get it in this beautiful gray. It is literally the first thing I put on every morning. True to size.
  3. Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Lite Coastal Hooded Cardigan [ordered in carbon in XS/SM] I mean, a Barefoot Dreams cardigan with a hood. Life just incredibly better. I know I will wear this with leggings more than I should probably admit this fall and winter. I would order true to size.
  4. Make + Model Gotta Have It V-Neck Tee [ordered in in small] These are my favorite lounge and sleep tees. Incredibly soft and comfortable, they hold up well and for only $15, now is the time to stock up! I would order true to size – I could wear these in XS, but prefer a little bigger for sleep!
  5. Make + Model Cozy Crew Raglan Sweatshirt [ordered in white day good day sunshine in small] I own a similar sweatshirt from this brand and oh my word, they are lightweight and the comfiest lounge sweatshirts out there. Another item I could live in.
  6. Make + Model Good Vibes Jogger Pants [ordered in blue stonewash in small] If there is one thing I know about Make + Model pants, it is that they are incredible. I own these and they are my favorite pair of sleep pants. Try them, you’ll never take them off again.

The anniversary sale also happens to be the best time to stock up on a new winter coat as some of the pries are crazy! Here are the ones that I decided on [I apparently want to be sure to be plenty warm this winter..oops]

  1. Michael Michael Kors Hooded Down & Neoprene Jacket [ordered in black in small] I love the sporty look of this jacket and the fact that it is a little shorter than all of the others. Order true to size [or go up like I always do on coats].
  2. Halogen Asymmetrical Zip Boiled Wool Blend Coat [ordered in grey dove in XS] Favorite coat of the sale! I think this thing is absolutely adorable and at just a little over $100 seems like a great price for this wool blend. The asymmetrical cut adds just enough fun. Available in a few other colors and suggests ordering true to size.
  3. Bernardo Hooded Packable Down & Primaloft Coat [ordered in black in XS] I live in Indiana, it gets cold here. I love down coats that are sure to keep me warm all winter long, but I don’t want anything that is too bulky. I love how fitted this is and the gold zipper details. Suggests ordering true to size.
  4. Kensie Notch Lapel Peplum Coat [ordered in winter white in XS] I love a good winter white coat. There is nothing that looks more striking than white on white. The peplum detail and buttons down the front make this such a classy choice. It does suggest sizing down.
  5. Maralyn & Me Quilted Hooded Jacket [ordered in black in small] I couldn’t believe this coat was under $60. I mostly ordered it to compare the quality to the price. It looks plenty warm and cute design. Stay tuned to hear my thoughts once it arrives.

Next on the list of items bought, handbags.

  1.  Leith Suede Clutch [ordered in yellow suede] It’s yellow, I had to. I think this will be a great pop of color to outfits this fall and love the tassel detail.
  2. Sole Society Susan Faux Leather Tote [ordered in black] For under $50, this handbag looks like a million dollars. Big enough to hold all of the necessities. Yes, please.
  3. Chelsea28 Kaylee Embellished Faux Leather Tote [ordered in burgundy stem] I keep eyeing similar perforated totes so when I saw this was in the sale, I had to do it. I love the burgundy color for fall and the clutch that comes with it kinda makes it feel like you are getting two for the price of one. Okay fine, if I have to.
  4. Vince Camuto Kirie Suede & Leather Crossbody Saddle Bag [ordered in foxy matte] This crossbody bag is my favorite from the sale. The detail reminds of the mini Chloe bags but at a lot better price. Once you start wearing crossbody purses it’s hard to want to wear anything but because hello, two hands!

With the arrival of fall, I think we all know one thing that will be necessary to achieve our layering goals…

  1. BP Dual Plaid Triangle Scarf [ordered in navy/ivory]
  2. Bp. Multi Stripe Scarf [ordered in tan multi]
  3. BP Multicolor Grid Square Scarf [ordered in ivory multi]
  4. Bp Buffalo Check Scarf [ordered in ivory/burgundy]

Phew, and there we have it! Allllllll of the items that will be showing up any day now to see, try on and review for all of you. Stay tuned to that fun next week! In the meantime, shop any of the items you saw above below — which item(s) are you loving most?!
